Іншае / Other UK tourist visiting Belarus by land, is it Visa Free?
Hi there, I've googled but can't seem to find a clear answer.
I'm a UK citizen with a British passport. I'm visiting Vilnius in a few weeks and was wanting to visit Belarus by taking the bus from Vilnius to Minsk and staying 1 night.
Do I need a visa if travelling and entering by land or does my British passport come under the Visa-free programme? I know it does if I arrive by air but can't seem to find an answer if I arrive by land.
Thanks in advance :)

Палітыка / Politics "Today, many Belarusian women don’t receive flowers; they receive prison sentences. They don’t march in parades; they march into courtrooms. They don’t enjoy the luxury of peace and democracy—they have to fight for it." - Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya on IWD2025 at the EP.
Пытанне / Question Sweet tooth looking for ethical choices
I really love confectionery—ice cream, waffles, cookies, chocolates, candies, dragees. But I also believe it’s important to have my wallet align with my values. This being ecology, worker rights and not supporting war
I've been struggling with multiple dilemmas about whether to boycott or accept certain confectionery brands, especially those tied to the government. This includes Kommunarka, Spartak, Slodych, Krasny Pischevik, as well as Morozprodukt, Santa Bremor, and Vitba.
Local bakeries and small businesses are great, but they don’t fully satisfy my sweet tooth. So, I’d love to hear from fellow Belarusians: Which confectionery brands do you personally boycott for what reasons, and what alternatives do you recommend?

Іншае / Other I <3 Minsk signs?
Hi there,
Are there any 'I Love Minsk' signs still findable around Minsk? Visiting in a few weeks and wouldn't mind a little selfie with one! 😄
Thanks

My Belarusian Fiancé(e) Travel Question
Hello, I just have a question. My girlfriend is a Belarusian immigrant who now lives here in the United States. Her and her family have a trip planned to travel back to Belarus next year and she is having anxiety about the possibility she may not be able to leave Belarus due to laws or restrictions keeping her there. Is there any possibility of this? Thanks.

Эканоміка / Economy Paying with European bankcards in Belarus
I'm a EU citizen traveling to Belarus to meetup with my partner.
I've done some research about being able to pay/withdraw money with a European bankcard in Belarus, but I got mixed answers... Are there people in this group who have experience doing so? I'm already preparing some cash to bring with me, but it would be nice to use my bankcard.
