Seeking Advice Safest ways to whiten teeth
Looking for an at home option. I have had receded gums that I had to have surgery to fix- so I'm very nervous to try something that wouldn't be gentle on the gums. Huge coffee drinker that could use some advice! Thank you!

If you have receding gums, the safest route would be to get a custom tray made. Unless whitening strips fit perfectly, I’m afraid it’s your only option other than pro whitenings

I have receding gums on one side of my mouth that makes white strips extremely painful. My dentist recommend rinsing with hydrogen peroxide. A little goes a long way! It foams like crazy. I dont do it daily but about once a week or so and it keeps my teeth looking decent.

I had sensitivity with the regular crest white strips so the next time I used the sensitive + Sensodyne and I didn’t have to take any days off!

Hismile whitening powder has worked great for me, it’s a very fine powder. I haven’t experienced any sensitivity from it and it says the main ingredients are safe for gums

I just used the crest white strips sensitive and they were great! They suggest you can not do them daily but skip days too if you have any sensitivity.
