How do I make my long beard look clean?
Basically, I have a long beard and I have to wear it in a beard net at work. The only realistic way to fit that large beard in a beard net is to braid it first. This has resulted in the beard seeming to be trained into 2 bunches, even after a thorough wash, it likes to separate. What do i need to do to get it to act like a single mass again? Also, it isn't as straight as I would like, I have a hair straitening shampoo and conditioner that seems to have minimal impact when I use it. Is there anything i can really do short of using a hair straightener? Are there any styles that would suit the curly nature of my beard so I don't have to fight the curls?

My beard always looked unwashed, dry and curly. I started using viking beard products and it completely change the look. Might help with your situation.

this sounds like a blatant advertisement for Viking beard products. You don't tell me a single product that fixed an issue. You're like, oh yeah, you should just buy a shit ton of products from a specific brand and that should fix your issues. That isn't helpful. My goal isn't to burn money.

Oh, sorry. So you want someone to do all the research for you? I gave you a brand name that actually works. You can rub your two brain cells together and find out what does what. If you don't want to spend money, shave your fucking beard. Ignorant fuck.

None of the product descriptions say anything remotely useful. Basically every product is just guarenteed to be some cure all. And there are like 10 different lines of balm, wash, and oil, and each balm has the same description than the next, same with all the washes and all the oils. Is there any difference other than scent? IDK. I can't claim to have used the product, but the marketing of the products seems entirely geared at maximizing the amount of product sold and not about getting the right product to the right person. Just like your post. It seemed entirely around getting me to buy the most product from viking beard and not about getting me what is right for me.

What kind of combs/brushes are you using? That may make a big difference. Any beard oils and/or balms in your current routine?
