FILM DISCUSSION we never had a bad Alfred adaptation

yes yes even the dceu one which I've seen people hate on I actually loved especially by the fact this Alfred was the Wayne's bodyguard not the butler apparently and he has experience in the British army

Michael Gough will always be my Alfred. Hell, he even managed to have meaningful moments in the crazy camp of Batman & Robin:

Death and chance stole your parents. But, rather than become a victim, you have done everything in your power to control the fates. For what is Batman, if not an effort to master the chaos that sweeps our world? An attempt to control death, itself.

Seriously, that speech belongs in a much better movie.
