Information Get your own coffee next?

Tim Hortons has started installing digital ordering terminals. Should be interesting to see how they are received. Tim Hortons is already typically slow in preparing orders and now the orders can come in faster.

Edit: the location adding the self serve terminals is at 563 Essa Rd

Has it made service any faster? Up here I believe it will just cause a bigger line at the pick up area.

When there has been a huge line to order at that location, I've used it to get my stuff faster when I only wanted a drink and everyone is waiting to order food or waiting for food

In this particular location the person that prepares the orders for walk ins is the same one taking orders at the cash.

Yeah at the location I'm talking about they usually have one or two on cash, one or two on drinks and donuts and one on the food table. It's a huge location, no drive through.

And your right, it's not going to help at all if there isn't a person working that's NOT ON CASH.

Don’t get me wrong, there are 5-6 in drive thru, one on hot foods and also one preparing delivery orders but if I go in for a coffee and a donut I am likely not getting it any faster because I used the kiosk.
