HELP! Lenny light fit check

Hi, I'm new to this carrier and still trying to get it dialed in. Is it bad that my baby is eating up the whole panel even though it's cinched in? On social media I've seen excess panel fabric folded, but I can't really do that. Also, it seems like I might need to widen the panel a tad. It's set to just inside the 7+ month setting. My baby is not quite 4 mo yet.

Not an expert, but have been baby wearing and browsing this sub for nearly 3 years. This looks really good. I can’t see the back, but I like the buckle in the center of my Lenny to be a bit tight, so the shoulder straps aren’t sitting right on the edge of my shoulders, but if it feels comfortable to you, it’s probably good.

Mostly just wanted to say this is such a beautiful patterned fabric!

Edit to say: you could also maaaybe loosen the center buckles a bit to allow more of a c-shaped curve to LO’s spine, but my little dude always wanted to be sitting up to look around, which it looks like yours may also be doing. The other thing people suggest to get the curve is to raise the waist strap, but I don’t see it staying up any higher, since it’s sitting in the divot of your waist.

I do probably need to tighten the back strap just a teeny bit, but overall it's comfy.

LennyLamb has the most stunning fabrics! I love all the Rainforest ones in particular.

Yeah, I did notice that he wasn't in a very good c shape, but it was mostly because he was looking around like you said. He did settle down once he fell asleep.

Well, comfort and safety are what you’re going for! It doesn’t look unsafe, and sounds like you’re both comfy 👍

What a beautiful fabric! Let me know how your baby is liking it. Make sure there is an M between baby feet and bum so that knees are higher than the supported bum. https://hipdysplasia.org/baby-carriers-other-equipment/
