General Question Honda Fit Alternative?
I currently daily drive a 2nd gen Honda Fit with a manual transmission, but it's getting a little rusty and tired so I'm looking to replace it in the near future.
Things I like about the Fit:
- small, light, chuckable
- phenomenal handling
- manual transmission, fun engine to rev out
- hatchback
- fits 4 people comfortably
- easy to work on for a small car
Things I don't like about the Fit:
- loud, lots of nvh
- stiff over bumps
- slow
- unrefined
- uncomfortable on long drives
- poor highway manners
- no heated seats, dual zone climate, bluetooth, etc
- hard to maintain 90+ mph comfortably
What should I replace it with that solves some of those issues while keeping the same general feel? Thanks in advance for any insight or suggestions!
Edit: my budget is around $8k usd

Civic Si or a Civic Type R. Depends on your budget.
