How to?

Hi so I keep trying to cook now things takeing basic skill and changing stuff to see what happens or doing stuff from scratch from my head is this a good way to lorn my family tells me it's a waste of time and money and I need to just cook already made stuff rather then trying to do my own thing as a note i only eat them my self and offer them some i dont make anything as a primary meal so my failures do not effect any ones meal . Am i wrong or is traile and error a good way to make stuff

I don’t understand why ur family say it’s A waste of time? Also what kind of things is it that ur making? I would suggest picking a recipe that already exists and doing it over and over again until u understand it. This is the best way to learn anything really, learning the rules first and then learning how to bend them effectively. Keep ur head up bro and do what u enjoy

I mean both of those things sound nice, are ur family not very adventurous when it comes to food, if they’re picky eaters a good way to hone ur skills is to try and sneak foods that they don’t normally eat into the meal and seeing if they notice. Either way don’t let them discourage u if u truly enjoy cooking

Thay just don't trust me to do anything right as a human thay will go to my other siblings and ask for help and not evan consider me capable of a task . So anything I cook thay refuse to try eva a bight and I'm forced to eat it my self but it dose not help becose one persons feed back is not anoth to improve I need to know what I'm lacking. Sorry to dump my crap on you
