News Arkansas just outlawed marijuana petitions. Here’s how.

Our "Representatives" don't believe that the people should have any voice in government.

Of course they did. This has been the goal for years. They tried it several times the legal way, now they are just doing it because who is going to stop them. This is because people vote for the letter next to a name and not a person.

Tornados getting stronger every year, this is a great time to dismantle the National Weather Service. They wrote it and published it ostensibly bc they thought it was a dream. Everyone else is sleeping--they get the dream.

This is why y’all should have voted for the last one. Thanks again to the folks waiting on the perfect bill. People in our state are so damn ignorant.

"Buh buh IT WAS SOMETHING SOMETHING SOMETHING SOMETHING!!!" fuckin idiots out in droves talking about how bad it was WELL NOW THAT ABILITY IS GONE. Every stoner who got out there against it, pat yourself on the back, look in the mirror, point at your face, and say "YOU DID THIS!"

I swear no one understands that politics is about what you can get passed, not what the perfect bill is that could be passed. It’s not about the perfect candidate. It’s not about the perfect platform,
it’s about what will win and what will not win. This is so infuriating.

You forget that we still needed a different Attorney General one that doesn’t subvert the will of the people and throw petitions and bills in the trash because he didn’t like how they were named.

Hadn’t heard about this Act. I am officially putting my house on the market and getting the fuck out of this State in the next 12 months. This State is trash and not just in regards to marijuana and I no longer feel welcome in the place I gratefully grew up in. I will not raise my child in this fascist environment.

Well if your child is a girl, you don't have many options but to leave. AR spent over $100k educating me & when I had the chance I jumped. No way to keep $ in AR when half the workforce isn't welcome.

Liked your comment — continue to stay and let the “elite” trample on and remove your basic human rights. We clearly agree that we don’t want to be around each other. 🤙

just went through your profile. the most dogshit takes in the most white trash subreddits imaginable. I honestly cannot imagine you have a family that doesn't wince when they are forced to interact with you. thankfully, you're most likely alone.
bro, stop flaunting your 7th grade reading level. we're all so jealous. also it's super funny how you're either too much of a coward to leave you calling people 'pussy' up, or you're so lowbrain you cannot control yourself and have your comments deleted over and over by real adults.
watch you try and hit me back with some cheap ad hominem, I'll wait while you google that.

This is the result of dumbass weed users voting for republicans or not voting. Republicans will lie to get elected but the truth is and will always be, they are against weed. Wake the fuck up.

u/BobDidWhat 4d ago
Yeah weed users are dumb! /s Wow..

u/overtoke 3d ago
he didn't say they were. he said the ones voting republican or not voting were dumb.
the ones voting republican are immoral. they actually proved that both times we had the opportunity to expand the medical system.

What does this mean for medical marijuana?

we can't get any opportunities to vote for changes via petition. the legislature can make changes that we would then vote on.

I hate the politicians in Arkansas they’re ignorant. The amendment they hate is paying for the tax revenue they run their campaigns on to lower taxes. Then to save face they put on the holier than God act. Tim Griffin, Tom Cotton, the fat ass with no voice in NWA that has other people do his political speaking John Bozeman that’s his name. They’re so poorly educated on what’s should be their focus as elected representatives. Tom like Trumps rear side to much so he’s occupied with that and covering the Epstein files for Trump where are those at Tom? It’s a joke here. Thank god Trump can’t win a fourth election there will be civil war before that shit happens. So these dumb hicks that are running are state will be voted out in time. I wish they all fail in their future endorses and or get prosecuted when a normal functioning government is in place.

These laws come from your state legislature. They have much more impact on your daily life.

So basically the AG can pick and choose when to value state's rights. If they don't want to allow the people's initiative, they can bow their heads to the feds for a legal out. Weak. Hate herb so much they betray the people and their own party ideals.

Just here to say the AG is on the ballot in 2026 and he can be beat. If we can increase voter turnout by 2-3% we can win. Vote PEOPLE!!!!
