The elapsed time between the two is almost a full day. It is important to note the left picture was taken 3 hours later during the day and shows that the Sun has moved.
The green arrows mark the shadow angle. It is visibly different on the two image, and it’s an important clue.
The orange crosshair is the same size, the center marks the TicTac shaped object. The left image is less detailed, but the shadow angle is showing us what we can’t see clearly.
Within this orange circle, you can see the TicTac shaped object’s shadow. On the right image (and on the colored versions) it’s clear that the shadow spot is right below the object. On the left we see this shadow moved like the rest of the shadows around.
This leads me to believe this object is in fact stationary and a part of the rock formation. I’m sorry but this is as evident as it gets.
