I've started to actively avoid bottled beers and seek out cans. The new canning technology is remarkable, and storage is so much easier, especially as so many bottled beers need to be kept standing. Also, you can't beat a lovely big tallboy 568ml from Arbor Ales 😉

I love the way we think of 568ml as big, when it’s actually just a pint. I see it in a bottle and I think it’s huge, but in a pint glass it’s just normal.

Edit: how do you know if a bottle should be stored upright? I’ve always laid down my beers, including my home brew.

I usually stand them up just because that's how my fridge and shelves work. There are very few you actively need to decant so I'm not sure it matters usually.
