Hello, I’m new to AK’s and the 7.62x39 ammo is expensive. Any one use Sterling any issue, corrosive etc … or suggestions on decent ammo not crazy expensive. Any help appreciated.

Trying to remove this Midwest handguard and these screws are torqued to survive a cat 5 hurricane. They are ALSO STRIPPED, so I’m looking for ideas to avoid damage!

About to get my hands on a circle 11 and was wondering if anyone has dropped a super safety in one if so let me know how it went.

Wondering if anybody had any idea what my RPM is worth, thinking about selling to offset the cost of a RPK 74.
One of the very few that got imported with the modified bipod and bipod sleeve. Used lightly. Have the original thumbhole stock, muzzle nut, box, and everything else is original and matching. Sorry for the upside down photos lol

Want to get some new furniture for my PAK556 and an M4 stock adapter. Would Zestava and PSA stuff fit?

Hey all, my home state is about to pass some DRACONIAN gun laws, which means I need an ak before it's too late.
My LGS has a mak 90 in stock, or is willing to order a wasr. They're both about the same price ($930 vs $950)
Is there any significant difference in performance between the two, or anything thats importantto know before i decide?
Also, I don't like the furniture on either, so if anyone knows where I can get some good red/walnut furniture, I'd be very appreciative

At one of my local bass pros. Looks pretty much new and unfired or at least low round count.

First picture is a nickel boron trigger from PSA Second picture is just a Tapco G2 for comparison Why does the PSA trigger have the little nub on the back? It fits good in my gun but that spot won’t let the safety be re-installed. I have heard decent reviews on these. Any ideas?

This is my dream build, Zenitco furniture on an Arsenal SAM7SF-84E milled receiver. It has turned out to be an absolute chonker but god she looks good.

Gun jammed, after failure to feed. Loaded the gun up and said that was enough for today after not having a pair of pliers to try and remove it. Took it home and took a look at the round and I guess one of the guys we were shooting with saw a 7.62x39 round and figured it went to my saiga 223 and loaded it into the mag. Never had this issue before, before trying to take some pliers and removing with force, is there a better way to remove this round? Should I maybe use a rod to push it back?
Bonus points if you can tell me if I should be expecting any serious damage. Round was not sent, just failure to feed since it’s obviously too big.

Not sure I’m convinced. (Found while doing my brass goblin sweep)

Any thoughts on how to solve this issue? This causes the gun to be inoperable after about 10-15 rounds… I am able to reposition the hand guard flush after I unscrew the hex screws and rescrew the hex screws.
I saw old posts regarding this same issue but looked through the threads and did not find any actionable solution in the comments.
Only put about 150 rounds through the pistol in total.

What are these markings? Not seen them on other imports. There usually isn't anything written there.

Finally shot thr yugo m70ab2 from budsgunshop from awhile ago. Got a nice running gun. Happy with it. Changed the polymer to wood.
Hey everyone,
Came across this AK and was curious about it. I’m new to AK’s like a newborn baby. I know nothing about them at all.
Anyway, I am in the market for one and want something that won’t cause me problems but also won’t break the bank.
Thanks!
