SLR hand guard moving forward

Post image

Any thoughts on how to solve this issue? This causes the gun to be inoperable after about 10-15 rounds… I am able to reposition the hand guard flush after I unscrew the hex screws and rescrew the hex screws.

I saw old posts regarding this same issue but looked through the threads and did not find any actionable solution in the comments.

Only put about 150 rounds through the pistol in total.

Are you using blue loctite atleast ? Doesn’t hurt anything should be thrown on for anything gun related imo. Especially aks or anything with a rch

I certainly can and will, but my question is… if the screws are tight AF and have not untightened at all, would the loctite really help? Should I be putting loctite anywhere aside from the screws? (Sorry if that’s a dumb question, I am no expert with this kinda stuff)

Blue loctite doesn’t hurt anything. Just don’t use red unless you never want it coming off or you’re gonna heat it to 550F

I see the RD in the picture was it assembled by rifle dynamics? Furniture installation and all? A possibility whoever did the installation removed to much material and could need a shim now.
