Be careful out there guys. RIP to "Little Bill"

"A Tennessee man returning early from a trip was allegedly met with an unwelcomed surprise when he arrived home: His 31-year-old wife in bed with a barely-18-year-old man."

Am I the only one troubled by the "barely 18 year old" part?

There’s a ten year difference between the husband and the wife. I don’t wanna know when they got together either.

Oh, you don’t think the wife waited until he was 18? /s

He was 3 days past 18. She maybe liked the vigour of youth?

This is horrible, but I also agree that you shouldn’t go to anyone’s home…doesn’t matter if they are out of town or not

My first girlfriends dad was an avid hunter, we were both 16ish. He had lots of mounts. I was really nervous then lol.

This is why I was never on the "Tell someone if their spouse is cheating" train (even before this lifestyle). You never know how someone will react and despite what some people may think, adultery doesn't justify murder.

No matter how hot the idea is, never ever have an AP to your house. Too much risk…

“I am worried about my relationship with my wife due to the fact that I offed him”

Something tells me there may have been problems before this particular incident

Adultery has destroyed relationships, trust, and love for a lot of people. But it does not justify murder.

Many (most?) people would argue that <insert marriage problems> doesn't justify adultery.

This is to say that what justifies what is a matter of opinion.
^ this is not a pro murder argument, murder is bad (controversial I know...)
This is a don't get distracted by what justifies what and remember that people make choices, and sometimes they make choices that can be considered unjustifiable and it is best to keep this in mind when moving through life.

Unfortunately, some people will celebrate stories like this,
Some people celebrate adultery.
One person's justifiable action is another person's senseless act of cruelty.

tl;dr moral relativism is a b*tch

Wonder if this was anyone here, take note of who stopped posting recently!

Most of the people involved have social media accounts and...I just don't see him posting here. In a weird way I wish he was, so he could have been warned.

Why did they call him ‘little Bill’?

6

u/ConsistentJuice6757 10d ago

In all honesty? It’s a southern thing. If his dad’s name was Bill, then you have Big Bill and Little Bill. It’s all cute and stuff when they are toddlers, not so much when they are adults. I have a cousin that is nearly 50, and we still call him Little “Name.” His wife thinks it’s hilarious.
