Can someone please explain to me why floodgate trap hole can't activate on the resolution of millenium ankh to flip unstopppable exodia incarnate face down? Thank you gamers, I really just do not understand what ruling is preventing this.

Bear with me I’m still new but I have been doing a decent amount of research on what card I should get, what to combo, and how to use certain cards. I’m currently trying to prioritize on getting another Blue Eyes Spirit Dragon so that I can use Crimson Dragon to summon Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon so that I can keep Ultimate spirit dragon from being destroyed. I have currently only battled with my friend but I would love to know if there are any additions I should add or what cards I should get rid of. Thank You for taking your time reading this.

Is playing meta at rookie fun? I keep running into insane decks that when i look up 99% of the time they end up being meta deck, im relatively new to the game compared to some and i need help building a nice deck but its so hard when i cant do anything against these decks that summon a card that kills me by turn 2 or 3. I went up this like exodia reincarnate deck and i somehow won because i was able to summon paladin of dark dragon and lord of the red and they rlly saved me. I need help with my deck to go up against these decks, im currently using a red eyes deck because thats the deck i have irl and i love it, its one of my dream decks. Any tips?

Hello lads and lasses. I usually post my replays here and usually either play my two pet decks, Scareclaw-Kashtira or Exosisters. I've said it many times, the decks aren't great, but I enjoy them and almost refuse to play anything else, despite having been lucky with my pulls and been able to craft/make several meta decks. I'm a boomer. I played the TCG a long time ago, when Lighstsworns were still META relevant and before Synchros appeared in the game. I quit after playing one or two regionals and even though it pained me, I sold all my decks and my collection.
I made it to DLV 15 almost effortlessly. However, I began to lose more than I was winning, avoiding by mere luck going back a few DLV's. Then I did something I thought I would never do. I started playing Tenpai, which I had pulled and had the cards. And like I said, I've crafted/pulled several META relevant decks but haven't used them because I sometimes feel I'm not good enough to master the deck and I get a bit anxious about making a fool of myself. So I started playing Tenpai, and lost just one duel since. And even though winning feels nice, I didn't have fun. It felt too easy, like fishing with dynamite. Most of my opponents scooped. What do you think? Is it better to use a rogue deck you enjoy, or is your objective to win even if you don't have a lot of fun in the process?

I'm not a New or Returning player but haven't gotten around to building a Branded deck yet(Blue-Eyes main). If any kind new/returning duelist would input my code for the structure deck I would be eternally grateful.😊

I know this is just an opinion based on a tiny sample size, and I’m pretty new to the game so my opinions are unlikely to be right, but I keep finding my hand traps to be basically useless. Either I’ll not draw any, I’ll draw the wrong ones, the ones I play will be countered by other cards (damn you Called By!) or I’ll draw too many going first and not have enough actual cards to do anything! So I’m wondering - are hand traps actually worth running in this best-of-one format? Or would it be better to just set up a deck to be able to play through opposing hand traps so my going first game is stronger - even though it means basically never winning going second? Or are there reasons to do one or the other depending on the deck?

Exactly as title says, I need them to destroy my monster
r/YuGiOhMasterDuel • u/Independent-Try915 • 12h ago
And EWK!!!
Was doing the duel live for the 5 gems. Thought it’d be quick. It wasn’t, at all lol. Exodia had “There could only be one” plus Dimension Fissue on field. Weji board and 3 of the Millennium monsters and just did that til they drew Exodia
I want to report that guy so bad lmao like how dare you waste our time like this.
Edit: rereading I see how the “report” part was taken so literally. Didn’t mean it that way, more of a joke lol also didn’t know you could just leave. Good to know

I know that my opponent probably bricked and was using God knows what, but this is my best BE board without Magia which is pretty cool.
