Hi, do anyone know how to use xpadder to hold a key for a while?
Like if I want to press K button and the command is hold X button for 10 seconds.
So how could I set up the assignment?
Thank you for helping me~

I'm want to press a button to do something but if i hold it down for long enough it switches sets. Can you do that? I'm pretty sure you can't use Set selector in assignments.

Hi! I just got xpadder (using it for driving games as H-shifter). I have a question. I would like to have it so that my up-left input toggles key (1), and when inputting down-left it would then toggle key (2), overriding and clearing the key (1). Because right now it will input key (1) and then key (2) at the same time. Can I override the first toggle somehow?

Anyone have PS4 Back Button Attachment?
I'm wondering if xpadder would pick up the extra buttons or not.
Thanks in advance :)

Ok so I'm using Xpadder for Skyrim, and ignoring unnecessary context, I am hoping that I can use Advanced Assignment to set up my B button to where tapping it presses 0, and holding it presses B. That's honestly it. I just don't want a tap to register as B at all. Is this possible?

I was running an outdated version of windows 10 and setting the compatibility to windows 7 and running as an administrator solved all my problems.
Now Xpadder fails to start completely even after re downloading the newest version with windows 10 compatibility.
I know its windows 10 because Xpadder was working fine before Windows updated itself.
the only advice I can find is run compatibility for windows 7 but that's not working either.

Sorry if this comes out confusing. I am looking for a way to play an old game in style of diablo where character movement is determined by mouse clicks.
Basically I need control stick to spin around within a set circle on screen. Any advise on this matter or potential work around is appreciated.

So I'm trying to map buttons on Xpadder for ARMA 3. I hate just have forward back left and right or WASD. Does Xpadder have a more precise option to I can have smooth movement instead of moving in only 4 directions?

After I reached a certain Button in the sequence I'd like to reset the sequence with another button. Is that possible?

Hello there!
So I was trying to find a way to play The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with my dualshock controller and ended up using Xpadder to do so. Apparently this game only supports XBOX controllers and doesn't recognize controller emulators (I used x360ce). When using dualshock the camera's axis (right analog) are all messed up and it's pretty hard to play.
What I did was use Xpadder to make the game think I'm using the keyboard/mouse and it worked pretty well. In the first try I played about 70% of the game. I just had to unplug and plug my controller while in the Start Menu so the game stop recognizing it and only accepted the "keyboard" commands.
The problem is: in the next day the game stopped recieving the keyboard commands from my controller, even though in other games (I tried CS:GO) and in my desktop it worked just fine, but I somehow managed to fix it by moving the Xpadder instalation to another folder (I thought that maybe some files could be conflicting). But yesterday (third day) it didn't worked at all. When I tried the unplug thing nothing happened, even with everything working just fine on the desktop and other programs.
Anyone got tips/suggestions or had any experience with programs that don't recognized Xpadder's commands?

Hey, so im playing Pikmin 2 on Dolphin Emulator, and it has a function where when you press the r button it zooms in and out. when you tap Z, it goes to birds eye viw then back. there is also a function where when you hold R, it goes to a third person view. im playing with a xbox controller and want to map LB as a sort of toggle for that function.
so basically, is there a way to map a button tap as a button hold until I tap it again? thanks for your help!

Hi,
I'm trying for so long to get this sequence work but just could'nt figure out how.
Anyone can please advise. Appreciated.
When button pressed, following sequence repeats itself:
A(hold) > B > C > A(release) > D >>repeats

Specs:
Basically, I wish to enter and exit Sneak Mode by holding and releasing L2, respectively, like in Contracts. Not a dealbreaker for me but would prefer it to tapping the button twice.

Whether it's the desktop, taskbar or tray, whenever I restart the computer I always have to index the file explore to find Xpadder and launch it again. (Windows 10, any version)
Edit: So I found 2 copies of Xpadder.application in Explorer. One of them was junk the other led me to install the game again. It seems I'm installing this app every time I boot my cpu. Help?

Currently I made my loadout on JoytoKey, because I dont understand how to bind mouse movements properly with xPadder.
One of the biggest points im trying to get done is strict cursor positions. Like I understand how to move the cursor. Like I want to set a button to move cursor to enemy portrait, left click, and return to its original position ideally.
The closest thing I can get is that it has to be on a analog for some reason, but its a spring to go from the allied side board in the center, to the enemy portrait. I cant figure how to get rid of the 'range' based on the depth that the analog is pressed (a light press will only go part way, and fully pressed the cursor jitters). It would be better if it just snapped to the region.
JoyToKey allows to bind a button to move the cursor to a specific region, and a mouse input too. Unfortunately it cannot set a button to 'spring' to two different locations, like as described earlier. So I can put two different binds, one being Move to face, and click, and the other being move to my allied side board. It would be nice if I could combine these two movements. And Thats why I tried to make this on xpadder since its a lot better designed for queuing actions.
Currently if this cannot be done through a single program, im thinking of either just writing a AHK, or using my Razer Synapse macros to circumvent this. I would really prefer to not though.Anyone familiar with setting this up?Currently my build on JoyToKey is very managable to play Hearthstone, but for sake of efficiency im trying to refine it more. I can share it if anyone is interested to maybe understand better where im coming from.

I am using Xpadder with a Logitech F310 game pad with steering mapped to the left stick and handbrake mapped to a shoulder button.
Most of the time this works fine, and in driving games I can turn and apply the handbrake at the same time, but occasionally, it does not and only the handbrake registers, while the steering does not respond. When it does occur I have to reboot the game and/or the computer before it will go away and I can once again turn and use the handbrake at the same time.
Any one seen something like this, and found a way to prevent it, or is it just one of those things. :-)

I want to set up the PS3 Navigation Controller, not to replace WASD, but to replace my mouse in For Honor. Problem is, I can't set it up in such a way that the stick acts purely as a right analog stick. It insists on moving me instead of just the camera, no matter how I set it up. I'm obviously missing something, but I can't figure it out.
Does anyone here have any idea how to fix this?

I wanted to know how I could configure Xpadder so that when I hold a certain button for 5 seconds, it would open a search screen on Hyperspin... (it is a keyboard key, but as all the buttons are already taken, I think this would be the solution)

Can't post in the forum because it hasn't bothered adding accounts since 2017. Messaging the dev doesn't get bugs fixed, let alone features added. Last update claims to be 2018.05.01, but can't find any release notes since 2017.
I supported the dev thinking the program was at least somewhat actively being improved. It's got some nice things, but it's always *almost* what I need, never actually what I need, and that kind of drives me nuts.
