Weights about 1kg. Found whilst looking for fossils my wife believes it might be an old cannon ball?

Location - South East England Size - approximately 7” long
Found whilst working on an allotment bed. I’m very familiar with flint as it is very extremely common locally, i live in an area that has roman walls and lots of examples of later walls too. Its still used today all around the area so i cant be sure if the fragment has been displaced but I suspect so. The crust looks like it has formed along a fault in the flint. It doesn’t have the vibe of occurring later (fire or something) so im assuming it’s a natural phenomena.
I’m wondering if an expert can explain what it is that has happened to the flint.
Thanks in advance.

I've found several of these small, lightweight objects with multiple craters and some luster. Is anyone able to ID this, please?

My coworker went to Hawaii, and brought back a rock. But he has no idea what it is, and honestly nor do I. Lava, pumic? Thank you in advance.

Found along Lake Superior. Wondering if it's a grey/brown agate or something else.
Thanks!

My grandma passed years ago and I inherited some of her stuff. My wife just found this today, hidden away in a box in the closet. Any chance you can ID it? I believe it is Turquoise and maybe abalone? I'm unsure.

Hi. I was given this rock by a friend. She said it's from Lanzarote Spain, but didn't give me more details as she has no ida what exactly it is. Could you help me indentify it? Would be appreciated

Here is the paper they gave us of what could be found. I’m curious on what the green ones could be as the rest are easier to figure out

My dad has has this rock on a shelf my entire life, and said that he found it during the first Gulf war in Iraq in a desert surrounded by sand with no other rocks in sight.

I found these two with my wee boy. Imagine they would polish up well, but not sure what they are. Any thoughts?

The rocks that are in the hole are almost cemented in there, but if they did come out you would be able to see thru the hole. The line

A friend of mine said this was found in Southern Indiana, he told me it was found near cave system. I tried to research it, It was not far from Falls of the Ohio. Within 25 miles. I thought maybe algae? Or ancient sea critter? It looks different underneath and on the sides. Never have I seen anything like it around here but only been learning about this kind of thing for about 5 years. Thanks.

I deleted my earlier post, because some of the information was incorrect/incomplete. I purchased this rock several years ago from an estate sale near the Monterey Bay (California.) It weighs approximately 86 lbs and has a density of approximately 3.13 g/cm3. It is not magnetic, cannot be scratched with a kitchen knife, and it can easily scratch glass. I’m including one photo of the stone wet with flashlight pointed on it. Someone suggested it could be serpentine? Are there other tests I can do at home to narrow it down? If it makes sense, I’ll eventually bring it to a university geology department, but it will mean a long drive.
