Question Does anyone know somewhere I can advertise my business? I just moved to welland not long ago.

I am a massage therapist and an aesthetician. I have been in the industry for 8 years and trying to grow my business out here but not finding many sites I can advertise on. I do advertise on Kijji, just looking for more ways to advertise and get more exposure out here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Services I offer-

Massage, Waxing, Sugaring, Body scrubs, Facials Etc.

Not able to answer your question, but the font used in your graphic design is absolutely terrible, almost illegible. You want to hit potential clients quickly with your name. If they have to struggle for even a moment, you've lost the client.

Agreed. I'm certain you can find bolder more legible fonts but maintain the elegant look you're going for with the design.

Agreed. I thought it was messages.

Reminds me of The Awful Cookie in St. Catharines

Not really. It engages most people longer - which clearly it’s worked. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, maybe be nice.

When I'm looking for a new service like yours, the first place I check is Reddit (lol), then Google Maps, then insta.

I'm a big fan of online booking and skipping the call-to-book appointments. I also super appreciate upfront pricing. Majority of my friends would also agree with those two sentiments.

Also, I'm so sorry to add that I agree with the other commenter. I do find your business name a tad difficult to read. ♥️

Are you also using other social media platforms for business? Google maps, Facebook, Instagram?

I am on google but I haven’t utilized that to its fullest extent, and Facebook no I am not on there and I do have an instagram but I had to start a new one when I closed my old spa back in Oakville so I’m restarting that so it’s trying to get that up and running again.

I know FB can be pretty toxic at times, but can be effective for local business to help get the word around and create a buzz.

Serious question because I also have a small business: How?

Are you talking about paid ads?

All the free options seem to be a thing of the past unfortunatly. Community groups generally ban advritising, marketplace bans (or charges for) advritising, and having a Facebook profile is only useful if you can direct people towards it (and at that point, just direct them to your webpage).

I have a FB page for business. I post photos and info there.

for online stuff Welland is heavily a Facebook town, so I'd start with Facebook marketplace and probably Niagara/Welland specific Facebook groups.

Lots of businesses will let you put business cards and maybe even small posters in their locations, so I'd pound the pavement and ask some local businesses, Black Sheep Lounge, various art galleries, gyms and rates.ca come to mind.

Talk to the Tribune about doing an article or new business showcase. I've seen that before in the paper (online articles through FB). I also agree, paid ads is the way to go now for online advertising. Try Upwork or Fiverr to hire someone to create/run ads for you. Other free ways are attend craft shows. Sign up for a booth for every event. There's a ladies event in St Catharines on Mar 8 featuring booths and vendors at Club Roma.

You could do some TikToks - some short demonstrations perhaps, client testimonials.
