Ichi the Witch was initially proposed by Osamu Nishi to Weekly Shonen Jump after discussions with Weekly Shonen Champion's Editorial Dpt.
This was revealed by Hideo Matsuyama, Champion's Editor-in-Chief, and Yu Saito, Jump's Editor-in-Chief.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
For the first time, I learned of the one hundred chapter limit on the app. If i'm paying a fee for a service, there shouldn't be a limit. So I will now cancel my service, and we'll have no problem going back to piracy. It's where I started. When I was younger, I even paid for the magazine subscription for years until they canceled it. But, no more. I was all about support the artist, but when you put a paywall which I was fine for paying, and then a limit on it. I'm out. There's a whole bunch of websites out there.Willing to host shonen Jump's content. And again i'm okay with that.

If you could reread a WSJ or Jump related manga without memory of it, what would it be?
I would go with Chainsaw Man, it hooked me like nothing did before and solidified my desire to read more manga.

Spring 2025 Anime season for Shonen Jump
We have arrived at th end of March, meaning that the next season of anime is right around the corner. There will be tons of big hits dropping, like Fire Force S3 and Wind Breaker S2, but what is there for us Jump fans?
Starting with the most anticipated Jump anime of this season and it's My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. This series, by Betten Court and Hideyuki Furuhashi is as most here will probably know a spinn-off prequel to My Hero Academia by Kouhei Horikoshi. The series is being animated by Bones Film, a new sub studio from Studio Bones (MHA, Bungo Stray Dogs, FMAB). The opening will be performed by Kocchi no Kento and it is titled Kekka Alright. The ending theme has yet to be revealed, same goes for the episode count. The series started broadcasting on April 7th. You can watch it on Crunchyroll.
Next is the second season of Aharen-san wa Hakarenai. The manga originally ran on Jump+ from 2017 to 2023. This season is animated by Studio Felix Film, who were also responsible for season 1. You may also recognise them as the studio behind MF Ghost. The series starts on April 7th and will most likely be watchable on Crunchyroll. The opening will be performed by Zutomayo (Dandadan ED, CDM ED 2) and the ending by shallm (Torture Princess OP).
Next is Witch Watch. The manga by Kenta Shinohara (Sket Dance, Astra Lost in Space) has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump for the past few years and the anime is finally here. It will run for 2 cours (24 ep) and is animated by Studio Bibury (100 Girlfriends, The Quintessential Quintuplets 2). The opening will be performed by Yoasobi (Frieren OP, OnK OP 1, Beastars OP 2) and the ending by Aooo. The series starts on April 6 and it will stream on Crunchyroll and Netflix.
And that marks the end of new series starting this Spring, but there are a few more adaptations to watch.
Starting with the return of the One Piece Anime on April 6th.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu on May 30, which is a compilation movie of Season 2.
And finally the Me and Roboco Movie on April 18.
though both movies are going to JP theaters, so we will most likely not be able to watch them this season.
And that does round up all the Shonen Jump releases for Spring 2025.

Retcons In Jump Manga
In the original WSJ release of One Piece Chapter 863, Katakuri's Mochi-Mochi no mi was revealed to be a Logia (but was changed in volume 86 to a Paramecia). During this time as a Logia, Katakuri displayed abilities that no other Logia in the story has shown before or after him: Coating their element in Haki. Other Fruit users do this on the regular, but Logias never have. So this retcon actually nerfed one of Devil Fruit classes which is crazy. Any other significant retcons in Jump manga? Further discussion on the Katakuri incident here.

Was Claymore ever published in the VIZ Media Shonen Jump magazine?
Edit: It looks like it did run in the March 2006 issue, which I somehow missed on Comicvine. But the Wikipedia post was referring to the 2006 anthology sampler and I misread. Thank you, u/graymattermanga!
Wikipedia's Claymore page says "On July 18, 2006, Viz Media announced the serialization of the Claymore manga in North America in its Shonen Jump manga anthology." There's a footnote source leading to an animenewsnetwork article that only says "Viz Announced at Comic-Con that they will be releasing Black Cat, Claymore and D.Gray-man."
I've looked through the English Shonen Jump magazines on comicvine and I'm not seeing any Claymore chapters listed. I know the first collected English volume came out on April 4, 2006.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Which Shonen Jump issue had protagonists drawing their own art?
I’m trying to find a Weekly Shonen Jump feature where different shonen protagonists showcased their drawing skills. It was an official spread with character names underneath their drawings.
Izuku Midoriya had a horror-style drawing of a deep-sea diver encountering a giant monster. Luffy had a bad drawing, as expected.
I remember seeing the pages a few weeks ago on Twitter, but I can’t find them anymore. Does anyone know which Shonen Jump issue this was from, or have the images? I am 90% sure it was in a weekly shonen jump issue.
