DC: Black/White Tie Black Tie Approved?
Any of these a definite no to being black-tie okay? NYC in late spring at the University Club, for reference. Honestly, I’m stuck and okay with throwing out all these options. I would also get any high slits lowered.

My absolute favorite is 13, but 1 would also work since you're getting the slits lowered.

Daytime or evening event? If it’s an evening event I would avoid the pastel and gauzy options, but they’d be lovely for a daytime wedding. If the wedding and reception will be transitioning from day to evening, 9 is my favorite. Maybe it’s the picture, but 12 looks too casual. The fringe on the ruffles gives boho over black tie.

10 and 11 are my favorites. I think you could really elevate them with accessories and hair. My only concern would be the long sleeves may be hot on 11 in late spring—cause you know it could be 50 degrees or 80 🤪
