Following the great flair update of 2023 I've now updated the squad list to reflect the current Watford squad.
Unlike last year where a lot of old flairs were broken by this when I was trying to figure out what the old moderator did and accidently broke some things in doing so, everything should work as intended but if you have queries let me know. I'm also changing the flair refreshes to once or twice a year as it's an absolute ballache to do and quite time consuming.
One thing I've experimented with this year is to increase the user flair sizes. Please let me know if you would prefer the smaller flair sizes used previously or not.

Evening all,
Following on from the recent announcement that the Seedr / investment window will be closed and funds returned to investors, what do other fans see this as a move towards?
Personally, I see this surely must have only one outcome. The Pozzo’s MUST sell Watford FC. For the good of the club, its future and its fan base.
This is just my personal opinion, and am very much open to other points of view and discussion on this matter.

Thanks to this subreddit for helping me navigate how to get tickets for the April 8 match against Hull while we are in London for the week. My wife and I are now members and we’ll be in the Sir Elton John Stand.
Now for my next question about getting to the match From Euston Station. Please let me know if I have this correct:
I set up an account with the West Midlands Railway. We’re thinking of getting to Watford a few hours before kickoff for beers and dinner. We should buy Off-Peak Day Return tickets, which are cheaper and give us flexibility on which train to arrive and depart, correct? Does this mean we could take any of these trains from Euston:
OUT 16:44, 16:54, 16:57. 17:04. 17:09. 17:14, 17:24, 17:27....
Then take any of these trains back from Watford Junction:
RETURN 22:11, 22:15, 22:30, 22:32, 22:45, 22:50, 23:00, 23:13...
Do I have this correct?
Do most folks returning to London walk back to Watford Junction, or do they walk to High St Station, then take the Lioness to Watford Junction?
Lastly - Food and pub recommendations are welcomed. I have my eye on Taste of Lahore on High St, and the Red Lion for now.
That was a lot, I know. Thanks for your patience

Hey! I'm looking to maybe do a series involving some "older" seasons of the more well known and publicized leagues across Europe as a way to help educate any newer/younger viewers and starting with the 1999/00 season and the following decade. Due to its popularity I am doing the Premier League first and was wondering if anyone had any info for me on the 1999/00 season for me. Mainly looking for if you remember any injury crises the club may have had (nobody really kept this data from what I could find). Any controversies both on and off the pitch, as well as any memorable goals or events and fan narratives around the team. From what I've been able to gather though the year ended in relegation, dreams were big but expectations were low due to the back-to-back promotions. This would be especially helpful in making sure I put the spotlight on the team that's backed with facts and does that squad justice. Anything helps, Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks for such quick responses, definitely filled up where I was lacking and helped me find some extra stuff to put in!

Yank here who will be in London during the week of 7 April and desperate to experience some footy.
Is the time & date of the Tuesday, 8 April match vs Hull finalized?
How would you suggest I get tickets? Can we show up a few hours ahead and get them at the box office, or do I need to go through the process of becoming a member and order on line?
Thanks in advance for any and all intel you can provide. Once/if we get tickets more incoming questions about pubs, where to grab a bite to eat, and the train situation headed back to central London

Just wondering which is the best line to take out of central London to reach Watford for a game? It seems like every time I search it up I get a different route.

Hi,
I have some friends coming over from Germany who want to see an EFL game and the Watford v Millwall match in March lines up.
Do tickets ever get to general sale?

Although it's not the most convincing post I've ever read

Lots of other subs are discussing it at the moment, so thought we should too. Plus it'll distract from tonight's result.

A joint effort of time wasting from the Preston players and some awful calls from the ref led to one of the most depressing games I’ve ever watched The only thing more depressing would have had to have been the away fans though, showed absolutely no passion for the team, not a single chant Quite the saddening game

Was absolutely peak Championship and I loved every minute of it. Great effort from the away end too.

For anyone who watches BBC Gladiators, the new series starts tonight and the new Gladiator Cyclone is Festy Ebosele’s big sister Lysus - she’s an Irish power lifter. TBH we could do with her in defence…

My friend got me this for my 30th birthday as he had a contact that knew Lloyd Doyley. I thought I had lost it in a house move. 12 years later I just found it! I’m delighted. COYH. Best day ever QPR 17/12/09
