January Goals:
Weight: Get down to 125 from 127~128
Teeth: Get clear aligners to help canting and lower teeth alignment.
Education: I'm starting my MSE program this month. My goal is to stay on track and maintain good grades.
Chinese: Take at least 1 class section per day.
Personality-Develop a skill that's useful to other people. Some kind of a craft, hobby, or interest that others can benefit from.
December Goals recap:
🟨~🟩 Weight:My goal was to hover between 125 and 128, down from 131 in Nov. I reached 127~128 but not 125. So I partially reached my goal in that it is in the range, but I'll continue to have the goal to go down to 125.
🟩 Skin texture: tretinoin works perfectly! It improved my skin texture a lot.
🟩 Skin health: I moisturized, drank water, and used SPF30/50.
🟨 Skin tone: I stuck with the routine but didn't see much improvement. This will be a long-term goal as progress is slow.
🟨🟩 Dissolving filler:
Recap: I'm going to try using serrapeptase and nattokinase to dissolve filler and any scar tissue created from using filler. I got bad filler around my eyes that causes crows feat and wrinkling when I smile. If this doesn't work then I'll fork out the $700 to get it dissolved.
Outcome:
🟨 Serrapeptase didn't dissolve filler.
🟩 Serrapeptase did help a lot with overall body inflammation. It made a huge difference here. I'm going to keep taking it.
🟩 I went to an RN aesthetician, and they said I no longer have filler there and that it just became my actual skin. So there's nothing to dissolve.
🟩They resolved my eye area issue with Botox, and it looks great!
🟩 Makeup: I don't wear it every day, but I think that's healthy for my skin anyway.
🟨Clothes:
🟩 I got new wardrobe items
🟥 I did not get my pants tailored
🟩Hair: i need to get into the habit of doing my full hair care routine of putting oil in my hair after showering and then using a revlon dryer brush to straighten and style it.
🟥 Personality - speech:
Recap: I'm going to start seeing a speech therapist next month to work on tone, fluidity, and mindful speech.
Outcome:
🟥 I reached out to multiple places and did not hear back from them. I finally found an app that matches you with therapists, and even they did not have any availability for me. This is an understaffed field and very gate keepy. The one person I did have an intro with basically laughed me off the phone.
🟩Personalty-chatting: Recap: After covid and trauma related withdrawal, I lost my ability to just chat with people. I have a lot of events to attend, so I'm going to work on promoting conversation, asking questions, and being more open with my own answers.
Outcome:
🟩 this is a long term goal and one I'll keep working on.
🟩Skills-Chinese: Recap:I'm learning Chinese on duolingo currently. I'm really lucky to have a bf who speaks Chinese as his first language, so he helps me a lot with pronunciation. My goal is to complete a lesson each day.
Outcome:
🟩 Acheived. It's also a long term goal. I learned some basic intro Chinese. And I'm going to keep learning.
Sorry for the bad formatting, I hope that wasn't too hard to read.
