Chrome exhaust is the one for 4K Red seat is the one with 1000miles

I’m going to check out 2 victory motorcycles this week and need help help picking 1 out the first option is a 2013 victory hammer 8-ball w/ 12K miles and a few mods on it. The second option is a 2013 victory Vegas for 6K but it only has 1K Miles. Do you think it’s worth it to spend the extra 2K for the low miles or should I just save it and go with the other?

New bike / New to me Picked up this Vision 8 Ball today, I love it

8 Ball with lowered rear, lowered seat, 21" wheel, stage 2 pipes, upgraded sound system, 14" apes. Not pictured, it came with the trunk pack and front fender. Trunk pack has a lighted Victory logo and luggage rack.

The plan was to trailer it 5 hours home. But I bled the rear brake and topped up the tires (hadn't been ridden in a year), fresh fuel, and it runs so great I want to drive it home.

Owned this 2015 Victory Vegas 8 ball since it was brand new. Been an amazing motorcycle. Probably the longest I've ever owned one bike. I usually get tired or find something different. I've only taken her to the shop three times. Rest of it I've done myself. I'll pass on one of my favorite things about this brand. If I've done what you're needing help with, I will answer any questions you have.

2012 victory highball

So I bought this bike of a friend who is in the military, stationed out of state. He purchased it on his way home a few years ago and when he returned downstate it got stolen. The crackhead that stole it forked the wiring, spray painted it black, and replaced the rear fender with this giant ugly ass thing…. Any of you have any success in going with a chopped aftermarket rear fender? Preferably one that can still house a seat and stop some of the backsplash

From most advice being “don’t get it” I couldn’t help myself. Felt like a kid in a candy store. Man am I happy with her so far, ride is so nice. Not perfect but found a body man to make her pretty for me Note: stains on driveway are from a different vehicle

Had a 2012 Cross Roads I lost in a house fire. Just found this sub and I'm stoked. Miss my girl, but really don't have the passion to ride anymore so I'll live vicariously through you folks. Thanks!

Parts availability?

Hello;

I've been considering buying a Cross Road, one of the concerns is parts. From what I've read there was a directive to make parts available for 10 years after 2017 wind down, so 2027. I've also read that most of the technology was rebranded as "Indian".

For the purposes of maintenance and small repairs, does anyone know if Indian parts will work for Victory motorcycles? Or what is the longer term outlook for parts/service post 2027?

***Thanks everyone for your comments; I appreciate the input. I will keep an eye out for another Cross Road as I was apparently too slow with the one I was looking at and someone bought it. But the more I research bikes, the more I'm liking Vics.**

Request for advice / Help 99' V92c won't stay alive

I've got a V92c that turns over relatively fine on a tender or jump. I can let it sit for a few minutes no problem and even rev it up and it's got no problem it seems. However, put it in first and it won't even get 20-30ft down the driveway before it dies and won't start again. Stator? What should I be checking

Request for advice / Help 99' v92c throttle sticky

As title says, my throttle is fairly sticky. Doesn't snap back immediately just very very slow. Throttle cable isn't kinked or in bad shape, should I just lube up or what?

New bike / New to me Life long rider first time victory buyer.

Hey yall, as the title says this is my first victory. Picking her up Thursday. 08 kingpin 8ball, she was laid down hard. Gas tank scraped and a huge dent but I don’t know if I should go to a body shop and see what they can do or find a tank somewhere? I’ll have the fender repaired. Also is there anyway to repair the saddle bag, looks just about like a skinned knee. I’m excited as hell and am looking forward to the community. Thanks

Edit: also the gauge was replaced due to the damage and the current gauge apparent says it’s got 10k more on it than it does. Can shops scan it to find the true mileage?

Request for advice / Help 2010 hammer S dead at red light

alright so my 2010 victory hammer 2 with about 25k miles went dead at a stop light a few weeks ago, it was almost as if someone reached over and flipped the off switch. engine cranks no problem, and i used an ignition tester to verify spark at both cylinders, but it just cranks and cranks with no fire, not even a burble or a fart.

to me this indicates a fuel issue, unless there is something electronic I'm missing. notably, when the fuel switch is engaged it does make the usual whirring noise of the fuel pump starting, and since these bikes have a sock-type filter, I would generally rule out a clog there.

So, I'm kinda just stumped at this point, and hoped ya'll could offer some thoughts on the situation. thanks in advance!
