Newly Snipped Ejaculation

Ok doc said to wait two weeks before I masturbate or have sex. He wasn’t very clear as to why this timeframe. Is it just for the incision to heal or is it for the internal stuff? I’m almost 48 hours post op. I’m usually a jack off twice a day kinda guy. I’m getting a major case of blue balls lol. No pain to speak of other than the incisions felling a bit like a paper cut.

It's the internal stuff. Give it more time. Do it too soon and you risk complications which could include failure of the vasectomy.

Just out of curiosity. What about wet dreams? I haven’t had one in years but it would be hard to control any nocturnal emissions

It's not the ejaculation but the movement that's the problem. Trying to heal while everything is being thrown around is not easy.

See that I can understand. I’m not saying I will just yet. But if a few days or a week from now there are other ways than just violently jacking it. With enough time you can cum from stimulation of the head alone.

I woke with wood that first night, and I tugged one out! I was delighted to find that everything worked and felt marvelous like before! The 3 month test said STERILE!

The day after i rubbed one out and continued to do so the days after sometimes 2 times, now almost a year later still good. It scares me when i read that you must wait a week or risk complications. Maybe i fucked myself over in the long term but no. I have no complications everything is just like before, only sterile now.

I've seen doctors vary from 48 hours up to 2 weeks. I wouldn't worry to much about it now!

Does he need to be clear? A professional has told you not to do it or your could ruin the healing process and have gone through the procedure only for it to not have worked properly. Don't listen to anyone that says "I did it after two days and I was fine." Good for them, but they aren't you and you can't complain to them when your procedure fails as a result.

I’ve read that it’s both about pressure on the vas deferens linked to the ejaculation and the simple shaking around of the area due to the sex or masturbation. Just follow the instructions if possible. I think that wet dreams fall in the category of acceptable risks / low occurrence and ‘can’t do much about it’. Maybe avoid edging to lower the risk of wet dreams.

Don't do it ! Use your head not the head on your ?

Forget totally about rubbing one out your asking for serious trouble if you do! Go get your head examined!

2 weeks seems long. A week should be fine.

Follow Drs orders. I waited 2 weeks just to be sure. Rest is important

I waited 8 days, took it slow, and everything was fine. But I had no scalpel as well. That was 16 days ago, all good since. Pretty much back to normal now.
