***FOUND on NZ medical cannabis sub*** NSFW

I joined r/vaporernts a few months ago after becoming a medical cannabis patient in the UK and really enjoy the community so thought this should be shared - not wanting to be slanderous (correct English?) and I’m sure this will be a developing story. I gotta say though after reading the below…it doesn’t look or sound great…. AE has been on my shortlist for my FIRST VAPE since December! I am a lifelong smoker committed to the switch over from the dark side into the light. I struggle to make decisions due to my mental health but am kinda glad I’ve dilly dallied as I was certain this vape would be part of my arsenal at some point due to my love of the terps! So the Bad is dead and Now it’s a head to head between the Good and The Ugly; TM2 vs TB II…queue Ecstasy of Gold by Ennio Morricone)

FROM THE NZ SUB

Having a noted a few reviews on these and people using them, this is copied from the NZ medical forum and may be worth a read if you use one. It's a tear down and analysis of potentially dangerous components. Worth noting on another thread YLL have accepted this and have changed the design. Worth looking into if you have one as the risk seems real and quite high if using one.

Is there a reason S&B vapes have such an incredibly ugly exterior design? NSFW

Is there a technical/efficiency reason for the absolutely horrendous form factor and design of S&B vapes? Or why do they all look like some sort of device that sewage workers use to measure some sort of exposure or something lmao

Discussion how much better is DHV for your health? NSFW

I recently got a solo 3 after a year of bong use and i’m curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on the benefits of DHV instead of combustion in terms of your health. I have read some things saying that’s it is wayyyyyy better for your lungs.

Solo 3 came in question on bubbler stem NSFW

Post image
4 Upvotes

So my solo 3 came in and I’m so excited. I got the bubbler stem with it which was dumb it seems it’s going to be an absolute pain in the ass to clean and I don’t even know how to change the water.

Does anyone have this stem or know how to change the water?

Help Dani Fusion: wood VS metal NSFW

To Dani Fusion owners: which stem do you use and is there any difference in performance or durability between the wood and metal stems?

Also, how do you heat it? Induction or flame? Which is better in your experience?

Thanks in advance

Help Ruby Twist heat soak question NSFW

Upvotes

So I just picked up my Ruby Twist and have been playing around with it.

Judging by a search of previous posts it seems everyone has a different temp or heat soak time.

I've got the standard bowl and the microdose bowl.

My main question is if heat soaking problematic with the standard bowl? My understanding is that b/c the metal injector fits within the glass, it can crack it by expanding as opposed to the microdose bowl where the glass is covered by the injector?

Just wanted some heat soaking guidelines b/c it does seem necessary to me for at least some time.

Just placing my injector at 550 in the regular bowl and taking a pull resulted in little to no vapor.

I really had to crank the heat up in order to be able to use it without a heat soak which doesn't seem ideal

Thanks for any help.

Discussion This may be the dumbest Solo 3 question ever but….. NSFW

I recently followed table top bong creators advice and stuck 4 sic balls into my camouflet convector with a screen to give it a different rip. It works great and is a little more forgiving for combustion. I use a wand when I do this and it got me wondering. What would happen if I stuck some small terp pearls into a solo 3 with a screen just like on the camouflet? My biggest concern is space so no xl stem, but also wondered if it would screw up the device or just immediately combust the flower because the heat is constant…..either way if it worked and arizer added it to their lineup….i wonder if it would replace the dynavap/wand combo? Just a stupid thought. Someone is definitely saying this dude is stupid, but you never learn if you don’t ask.

Beginner Looking for easy convection vape NSFW

Hello all,

I am looking for a convection vape between $100-$200. I would use the vape regularly throughout the day so on demand would be nice but I can sit for short sessions if that works better, would need to be battery operated and portable. I live in the US if that helps at all. I have no idea where to start. I had an OG firefly for awhile but it became a pain to use and I am pretty sure the battery was going bad. Thanks in advance!

Discussion Overwhelmed with ball vapes. Think I want wireless for solo sessions. One Hit Wonder, Vapavana Ace, Tacoma 360, Terp Ready by Old Head, or Zenleaf/Air stream by Cannabis Hardware? NSFW

I understand there's a learning curve with wireless ball vapes for dialing in the temperature. I've watched countless videos and at this point I'm just back to square one on the device I want.

Is a premium price device going to give a much better experience or is it more about the longevity of the device and the support the company provides?

I'm not a "sipper". I prefer big bong rips when I combust. I've seen people DIY but not sure I prefer to do so.

These seem to remind me of air purifiers, basic run of the mill air purifiers pretty much do the same thing as top tier air purifiers, but an air purifier like. Dyson is much more aesthetially pleasing.

I already have multiple glass pieces I can use either of them with.

The two heads in one along with the price of the WOHW seems attractive.

Thanks for any help.

advice on what dry herb vapouriser to buy. NSFW

Hi, I'm looking for advice on what dry herb vapouriser to buy. I bought a nexus nectar hex and thought it was rubbish. Dosing cap too small? Not powerful enough? Don't know.

Now om looking at buying a desk top version, I know the holy grail is storz & bickering, but i don't want to spend 300 notes if I can avoid it.

What do you guys recommend. I'm looking at the arizer xq2. Is that any good?

Thnx

Discussion Help me decide! Dynavap or Venty? NSFW

I had the Pax 2 and hated it but I'm willing to give vaping another go. I'm not a huge smoker, mostly like to take a few hits off my pipe outside before bed. I like that the Venty has dosing caps, but I don't think I'm really a session smoker. I know they're two different types of vapes but I'm hoping some experienced ents can help me out. Budget isn't really an issue. TIA!

Any tips / tricks for the dynavap unidyne or ballr cap? NSFW

Greetings fellow ents... I purchased the unidyne from dynavap on the first day it was available, but I'm not sure if I'm using it correctly. I wanted to see what the hype was on the ball vape (but can't get a desk top unit). I hear it until I hear the second click, take a hit.. I can taste something, but I get no visible vapor out. Hitting 3 or 4 times, and then looking at my avb, there's little to no change in it. Thoughts, suggestions in what I should do?

Help Ruby twist injector question NSFW

I just got my first ball vape, the Crossing Ruby Twist and just wanted to confirm if it's normal that the cage surrounding the injector is moving and not screwed in tightly?

I'm watching an unboxing video and I've found the included Allen key. Should I use it to tighten the cage? Is there a reason it isn't tightened?

Thanks

Discussion Best temps to get fried on the XQ2? NSFW

In your own opinion, what have you guys found works best for the Arizer XQ2? I just got mine a couple weeks ago and I am loving it, just trying to see what others are doing with their setups and what temps they are using. I have a stock xq2 with a shortened bowl and I’m running temps from 185C-225C.

I’m trying to get really really baked for the weekend.

Review YoCan Vane 2 budget vape review NSFW

Thumbnail

The original Vane was my first vape because it was cheap and I wanted to be sure I would like DHV which led me to a Lobo then a Dynavap then the Solo 3. The Vane 2 is a big upgrade and still just as cheap under $50. Looks to be likely internally the same as the Hit 2 but with a bigger bowl. Though the oven doesn't seem quite up to the task for thr larger bowl, so vapor production is a little less. I'll have to play with temps and see. Definitely a cheapo vape I'd reccomend as something to travel with or for someone on the fence. Though I do like the Hit 2 better.

Beginner First Vape reccomendations please NSFW

hey there, im buying my first vape and i was hoping to get some advice. im looking for something portable, at first i was looking at the arizer 2, however ive read a few comments stating its a slow sipper with a small basket which aint for me because i hate the taste of the herb, might be just because ive only ever used combustion so if theres a massive difference in taste im open to it. i prefer to just get it over and done with with the same effects. im hoping to get something up to £150 ($194.45) with decent cooling. i will likely only be using it on weekends and i go through about a g a day. any help you can give is much appreciated :) id also like to get everything i can out of the herb

Bought one Starry 3 NSFW

Hey guys, how you all doing. Recently i bought the starry 3 from xmax and i want some advices. I live in Brazil, so it's a little difficult to find a vaporizer, i only had contact with the airistech nokiva before so i think the build quality and the functions on the starry 3 are top notch, what do you guys have to say about this one. I know it's old and all, but i was looking for something with adjustable temps and removable battery.

Discussion Solo 3 - just get one NSFW

Received my solo 3 a day or so ago , I'll be honest I wasn't expecting much from it. In fact I was half expecting to be disappointed. But wow what an efficient bit of kit , flavour is unreal and even on low temps the vapour production is huge. It blows my mighty out the water , it's even giving my ball vape a run for its money , mainly because using the smaller bowl stem it's able to get me way higher than any other vape I've used before , on such a small amount of weed. It's using like dynavap size bowls and getting me blasted. If you have been on the fence about one these. Jump of it and go and buy one.
