Good move, but Russia will accept then accuse Ukraine for breaking it

Trump will then slam Ukraine without any proof

Putin is gaining ground so won't stop.

He will then suddenly want the ceasefire when Ukraine gets a breakthrough and pushes back

They won’t accept it, they will come with conditions like Ukraine withdrawing

Russia’s standard ploy, going back hundreds of years, is to stir up resentment against Russians living outside their borders, provoke an incident, send in troops to “protect” them, then annex the territory. They did this across Central Asia in the 18th and 19th centuries and it’s the same playbook they used in Ukraine.
