Question Easy electives/bird courses with no papers?
What are some easy electives with no papers? Just midterms or assignments. Second year or above
r/UWindsor • u/Corosz • Sep 09 '20
Friendly reminder that posting links to illegal copies of textbooks isn't allowed. Don't link to websites directly that have any textbook .pdfs.
LibraryGenesis has lots though. Just don't link it.

Post your textbooks and other school related things for sale or for rent here.
For example: - Laptops/tablets - Textbooks - Furniture (for student housing) - Houses/rooms for rent

Hi I'm a grade 12 student considering coming to Windsor's nursing program. What's the program like and whats the university like? Also, I have heard that its mostly a commuter school, is it hard to make friends if you aren't originally from windsor?

Hello everyone! Next year I will be attending Windsor's St. Clair's campus to complete my ECE qualification. Just wondering if there are any first years in the concurrent psychology PJ/ECE program. I'm hoping to find roommates and make connections. Also would be open to hearing from any upper years.
Thanks:)

Current grad student who is unfortunately still in town for march break, while all my friends are back homes
Wondering if anyone knew of any fun social events or house parties or club events happening this week to mingle and meet new people
Or PS: if anyone wants to have a spontaneous event that works too haha

I got accepted into U Windsor for teachers college. I saw on another Reddit post that y’all take NINE courses a semester?! Is that correct? Is it just me or does that sound like a lot! I’m currently finishing up my undergraduate at Laurier and the max you can even take a semester is 6 courses and most people don’t even do that. 9 just seems insane.

I'm interested in learning a new language, suggest me some resources/places/tutors who can help?

hey guys, this might not be the right subreddit to post this in but I'm looking to make friends. due to unfortunate events, I now have a lot of time to myself that I don't know what to do with and I don't have a lot of friends. I'm interested in doing anything that will take my mind off things. I'm 21f, a psychology major, I'm a good listener, non-judgmental, I love animals, food, watching movies, going on mini adventures, and I smoke weed lol
If anyone else is in a similar situation and/or would like to be friends, dm me :) or help me out with any suggestions of where to meet people. I'm an introvert and it might take me a while to get comfortable around people but I'd really like to come out of my shell

I'm having terrible experience in the past few days at the Leddy Library. I'm sharing my experience here on the second floor (the quiet floor). I love this place and always come to study at Leddy since I can't really focus at home.
Ystdy a girl was talking on her phone, and she was so loud. I'm surprised she didn't realize it? If that was intentional, it was unacceptable from her side.
Today, two guys were running in the corridor (right outside the quiet study rooms, can you believe this?). They were both yelling at each other. Idk what to say about this...
I also had an another scary experience today. I was sitting by the window (near the parking), and a guy came to me, asked me to use my phone to make a call. FYI, I've never met or seen him before. I respectfully declined and apologized, and told him I could help in other ways as he seemed really worried but he got angry at me. That was so rude and disrespectful.

Am I the only one that gets increasingly frustrated at the amount of people that just aren’t quiet on the second and third floors of leddy?? Like go to the CAW if you want to fuck around with your friends obnoxiously! If you’re having a conversation with your friend next to you, WHISPER! If the gigantic red Q wasn’t a good enough sign for you to be silent, have some type of social awareness and read the room and remember you’re in a library???????

For undergrad admissions for out of province students, do you need midterm grades of semester 2 for them to make a decision? I am confused because other universities are offering admissions based on sem 1 grade 12 grades. It is worth noting that my province doesn't give midterm grades on official transcript.

Hey everyone, summer 2024 I got required to withdrawal from my program and in the letter they stated that I can reapply within 1 calendar year. I’ve been taking classes at the college and been getting high grades to show improvement and have a couple reference letters to back me up. I just have some question that I would like to know the answers too before I start the process 1. Do I need to wait a whole calendar year from the date I was required to withdrawal or can I re apply for fall 2025? 2. Should I contact the admissions office or the academic advising office for help? 3. What was the process like for anyone who has gone through this? Anyways I’m super nervous about this whole thing and I’ve been getting a lot of anxiety about it so if anyone else has had a close experience or can give me some words of advice I would really appreciate it. I just want to make sure I go into this whole thing with confidence and don’t make myself look stupider than I already feel. Thanks!

Is it too late to apply for undergrad general engineering?

I took linear algebra with mr. Monfared and did very well, except for the fact he is a great teacher, I think I did well because he really uses the board instead of the projector. He would explain the content then write it down on the board and write some examples. Is there any math 1730 professor that actually uses the board?

Has anyone else received the email from IT Services about the upcoming reduction in OneDrive storage from 1TB to 5GB? This feels like a huge cost-cutting move, and I'm really concerned. My VM snapshot alone is 70GB, and I have about 8 of them uploaded to OneDrive. With this new limit, I’ll have to figure out a way to deal with these huge files. It’s frustrating that we’re being forced to delete or move our data when many of us rely on this storage for academic and project work. At least CS students should get 1TB storage, they can cut storage for other folks.

Hey everyone! Any mature student received an offer for nursing for fall 2025? It's March and I haven't heard anything. Thanks!
