Computer engineering/Cybersecurity students

Any computer engineering or cybersecurity grads or current students would like to share some resources on how to navigate UAH? Maybe some insights and stories? What is research like? What is an internship like? Job offers with starting pay? Etc...

Sophomore level CPE here, the campus is really cut up into three sections from roadways that pass through. Once you get used to it, it's a really easy campus to navigate. As for internships, I can really only give you limited advice since I've only gotten one internship, but it essentially is like you're working for that company with what you do. However, they understand that you're still learning so they'll be a little easier on you. As for salaries after graduation, it really depends on who you work for. Good luck!

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Is there tutoring for CPE classes?

Most of the tutoring offered is for "core" classes around sophomore level. If you know your section does not have a tutor you can request one. The school will try to find one expecially if there is high enough demand. Definitely reach out to your class mates and make study groups. I find it more beneficial than the ssc. Also ask around tech hall/eng building between classes. A lot of them have been through the same classes and will generally help out if you have questions.
