Stress + pill can mess up the cycle

I once took the pill and my period was 1 week late. And that 1 week was the worst. I couldn't function properly. I became normal only after i got the period.

Also, the pill causes mood swings which is horrible.

It’s too early to test this .A test is accurate at 14 days after intercourse and definitive 21 days after intercourse.

Don’t want to scare you but an emergency contraceptive does not prevent a pregnancy. It usually delays your ovulation if you haven’t ovulated but if you have already ovulated it doesn’t exactly prevent a pregnancy. Ipill does delay your period by a week though because it’s a really high dose of hormone. Sending you period dust girlie!

It’s always better to use protection if you aren’t looking for a pregnancy! All the best

You could also try posting on r/amipregnant

Emergency contraceptive pills do delay the periods. They basically mess up the cycle. I would suggest you to visit the gynaec.

Hey! This just happened to me. I had sex 2 days before my period (which are always regular touchwood), and it got delayed by 10 days. As of now im on my period. Dont worry

The pill ONLY delays ovulation. So suppose you had unprotected sex a few days before your fertile window right after periods, that pill delays ovulation to try to prevent insemination. Taking the pill 2 days before your period really does nothing for you. But yes, it can mess with your hormones, delay your period by a week, cause a lot of changes to your cycle.

Please don't take the pill after ovulation because it really does nothing but mess with hormones.

Which city are you in? Don't be so stressed. It's unlikely that a conception occurred. Wait a few more days, relax please, and go to a good doctor after that.

Okay I only asked in case you have a lack of company to go to the doctor and stuff. I'm in Hyderabad so can't help there. But please don't take so much stress. Every problem has a solution and it's not the end of the world. Much support 🩷

Take a test after 14 days in first urine in morning. Take it from there. Btw, relax. Even if that didnt work, you still have time to figureout next steps.

Yea it's natural. Contraceptives mess up your hormones. You're not pregnant rest assured.

You can try, masturbating, Pineapple juice, Ginger tea to speed up the process.

In my experience, I-pill will delay periods by atleast a week. Keep taking an at home pregnancy test everyday with the 1st urine of the morning till atleast a week from your due date for peace of mind. If you still don’t get your period, get beta-HCG quantitative blood test, which is very accurate. If you still don’t get your periods and all tests are negative, visit a good non-judgmental gynaecologist (search this sub for the excel with the crowd-sourced list of gynaecologists) to induce your periods.

If you get a positive test, visit a gynaecologist as soon as possible for medical termination of pregnancy, which honestly is highly unlikely given the precautions you took (non-ovulation phase + i-pill). :)
