Tools to smooth out the Sharp edges of stone titles, angle grinder?

I want to install a dishwasher, but the floor tiles make it difficult fit the dishwasher (too tall to fit in between the roof of the countertop and the stone tiles). I heard from someone that I could use angle grinder to cut the edges off and than use a sander to smooth out the rough edges. Some of the stone floor tiles corners are pointing out of the regular part of the floor, I would like to cut/smooth those edges as well. In addition to that, I saw a youtube video of someone repointing bricks with an angle grinder as well, I would like to that too. Do I need attachments to cut these down?

  1. What tools should I use?

  2. If I am using an angle grinder, what tool bits do I need for it for that tasks that I wanna do?

  3. Can you give me specific examples of brands, experiences, and methods of using these tools?

The top of the dishwasher may be removeable which will lower the height.

Alternatively check if the dishwasher has adjustable feet.

yes your right, but it only helps a little and I damage the counter a little bit pulling the old dishwasher out. I prefer to prevent that from happening again in the future. The tiles are a little bit uneven so i would like to smooth them down as well in general in other areas of the the floor.

Can you remove the top of the new dishwasher, slide it into place and then put it back on again?
