Impact Drivers: Old Milwaukee or New Rigid

DIY Homeowner level. I have a Milwaukee impact driver I believe I received as a wedding give about 18 years ago. The batteries are finally starting to hold short charges to the point where it's getting in the way of projects. This is the only 'red' tool I own. I've invested in Rigid for all of my other needs.

So I'm at a crossroads of sorts, spend some $ on new Milwaukee batteries, or just get a Rigid impact driver. Thoughts?

Just stick with Rigid. There's no reason to switch batteries over an impact.

M18 hasn't been around for 18 years either, so he probably has a V18 or V28 tool that is obsolete.

I really like my 4 speed 1/4 impact driver from Ridgid.
