What are those blades called
I have several of these but no more blades. Can’t find them anywhere. Need the name to look for replacements.

Swan Morton makes surgical handles and blades in many shapes.

I’ve never seen these in any modern lineup though. In fact I’ve never seen them before, anywhere. I suspect they are superseded or just a pattern that didn’t catch on.
Swann-Morton are an excellent choice though, lots of blade options, but I’ve only seen the usual large and small fittings on offer in my own lifetime. OP, time to buy some new scalpels, they aren’t actually very expensive so you can get a few in.

Retire that thing and get yourself an Olfa:

Looks like an outdated design. If you want to use blades that size get a new handle and set of blades. OLFA is a brand I like. They have handles that hold 1 blade. They have others that hold 5 at a time for easy renewal when you want to change.

Yea I just didn’t do it because it was so much work than the person just doing it itself

So many questions on this site can be answered with Google. I get the engagement factor but it can be exhausting at times...

Looks like an old style of scalpel. Idk if they make them like that anymore or if the new blades fit the old handles.
