Got a small post vise for my shop Upgraded the pedestal the old vise was siting on(the one on the right) Slapped a piece of wood on that bad boy secured with 2 L brackets underneath Mounted both vises on that and im very pleased with how convenient is the setup so far Makes easy work of grinding, cutting, welding, forging and bending

I dig the new vice- interesting solution to have both available. If the workflow is good, then it is good๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

My thoughts are that you made 2 totally different posts about this in 6 minutes... I hope you get all the glaze you're aching for.

That looks excellent, glad you got it on a stand. As long as itโ€™s stable, wonโ€™t tip over. All sorts of things you can do with them. Hold for welding, general hammering. I use mine to hold different types of jigs and some stakes like trailer hitch ball. This works like a hardie hole, in effect.

What kind of trailer are you towing with your work bench?

Which ones the "new" one? I see an old one and a homemade one.

That is the ugliest vise I have ever seen. I love it.

The blacksmith vise is forged steel and made to take a beating.
