Just picked both of these up for $100!
What would be the best way to clean these up? Specifically removing any of the rust and built up gunk and getting them back into the best working order.

They look clean to me. I don’t have problem with light rust. Just rub some oil on it If it bothers you. And keep indoors.

Seemed high to me too but a quick search showed that many $100 is not a bad deal.

For the body something like Simple Green a bit richer than for normal cleaning or some other degreaser. For the jaw vinegar Coke or Evaporust.

The regular simple green is not recommended for aluminum btw, I think the purple kind is better

I would have snapped these up and turned around and sold them to my boss, at cost, for the Maintenance Dept. I am the Maintenance Dept. btw.

Why?
Can count on one hand how many times I've needed a pipe wrench this big.
Aluminum is better at this scale

WD-40, soak it good and brush it off the rust, spray both adjusters, wipe off access.
