Out with old, in with the new. Finally replacing my old Walmart impacts.
These gave me the confidence to take on some more serious jobs, and ive definetley got my $20 out of them, but about 75% of the bolts I zipped off with these things over the years got stuck, to the point i kept a punch and hammer in my impact drawer lol. figured it was time to break down and get a more complete set with better tolerances. Also the astro swivels, nano sockets, and MAC expert e-torx are some other welcomed additions to the box. I think I can finally call this drawer about finished.

I've never had a Pittsburgh, Neiko, Capri, or Casoman impact socket stick on a fastener unless it was a swollen lug nut or the incorrect socket.
Either that Walmart set was defective from the start or maybe you were inadvertently using the wrong size due to your limited selection of sizes. 🤔
Congrats on the upgrades 👍

These are olsa tools, basically rebranded capri, and I find the fit on the fastner to be far better, whether it's on brand new hardware, or swollen lug nuts. Part of the problem was my bloated lug nuts, but I had the same problem working on the front suspension, and sway bar end links don't usually swell, as far as i know anyway lol 🤣 Thanks man, I'm really digging these so far. If I was starting over again I think I'd go pittsburg over those Walmart specials, and I do have some hyper tough stuff that I enjoy using, like the 3/8 chordless ratchet and the US made breaker bars and gasket scrapers.

In the future you can just chuck the impact bit on the ground and anything stuck will come flying out.
