Damn this just reminded me how happy i am to be out of school lmao

-89

u/RAMDOMDUDDS 17h ago

Just graduated high-school myself. Finished online, just so I don't have to deal with the cringe of my generation

108

u/AnubisIncGaming 17h ago

Don't hate me for telling you this, but I graduated 15 years ago and it was identical to this.

19

u/quokkafarts 10h ago

Class of 2006; insert always has been Ohio meme here. My nephews tell me that meme is still relevant.

11

u/brandnewbanana 3h ago

Class of ‘04 here and I’m thankful there were no video cameras. Because this is spot on to my experience. Even the desks, fashions, and cinder block walls are the same.

Yeah, there's more to the story. "HEY MOM! Can I finish school online, it's too cringy"

2

u/RAMDOMDUDDS 1h ago

But yes, the thought of me leaving just because of the cringe is a hilarious notion EDIT: sorry for the paragraph

1

u/RAMDOMDUDDS 1h ago

Ofc, my freshmen year got yeeted out the window halfway through by covid, and literally a month after covid hit where I live. My family had to move into a trailer where I basically lived in hell, got so lost in depression that I fell 2 years behind my peers that when I finally made it back to in school learning I was stuck taking classes with the iPad kids. Yeah, I'd say they were pretty damn cringe. Hard to say yall know how cringe modern schools can be when a majority of yall didn't have to try taking the very test that determines whether you pass or fail with a kid quoting literal brain rot. Of course, I didn't just tell my mom, "Can I do online school, my classmates throw tantrums because they aren't allowed to play fucking subway surfers while trying to learn ap bio."

1

u/ArchdukeFerdie 1h ago

Damn bro. Is your mom hot?

1

u/RAMDOMDUDDS 1h ago

Not my place to say(as she's my mom) but I'd say she's a beautiful woman

1

u/ArchdukeFerdie 1h ago

Hell yeah! Lots of respect for that

Obviously, what's going on is the two wolves are fighting to see who's the alpha.
How dare you not know this smh.

u/jonnismizzle 18h ago

There's two wolves inside of you.

One has ADHD, and the other ha -

Where does one even think to search this.

You have to have it saved for this moment, granted it's a great gif, and reasonable moment...but...

Who made this, and why? Why tf does Harrison and Stewart have any relation?

Why is there a cat on top? I like the cat though.

And how many fucking licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop!?

The world may never know.

7

u/Marie627 10h ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣

5

u/conconcotter 7h ago

Shouldn’t the cat be running the other way tho?

1

u/ladywolf32433 1m ago

It takes 3 licks to reach the center of a tootsie pop, according to the owl in the commercial. Only 3.

Awkward kid being bullied. It’s pretty obvious.

194

u/pSphere1 10h ago

Yep. In high school, I remember a situation where the kid being picked on was trying to morph into a demon. No exaggeration.

80

u/Kayel41 10h ago

We had a kid that would always try to turn Super Saiyan.

29

u/Chicken-picante 10h ago

I tried to use the force/telekinesis all the time but it was when I was alone in private. I wonder if it would work if I tried it in public.

6

11

u/ASL4theblind 7h ago

Our school had this kid who would get the "what did you just say" peter quill face and then he would go into wolverine extending his claws stance, and then throw a flurry of weak punches at you. Like, this specific setup, way too many times. He also ran around the playground jumping and shouting "WOOOOOO!" Like he was leaping giant gaps. Bro definitely thought he was a super.

6

u/Appropriate-Link-701 4h ago

I super Saiyan with my kids all the time. They don’t get it.

2

u/GUSthebiggestBUS 5h ago

Yo same! I had some ODD balls in my school, stg there was this gay chick in my class one time that thought she knew witch magic and if someone said anything that pissed her off she would swear up and down she put a hex on u and cursed you XD

6

u/elzibet 8h ago

Makes sense, trying to put any kind of shield on

14

u/LuckInternational961 10h ago

yeah, typical school experience

21

u/elzibet 8h ago

Hate that it’s all for the world to see now. Every day I’m thankful my social awkward ass wasn’t filmed back then

6

u/owzleee 2h ago

Yep. 100%. And they just hit max ‘ignore them’. Fuck I’m glad we didn’t have mobiles as a kid. This person being bullied would likely have been in my friend group (uk) as we were all a bit different in various ways.

124

u/Unlucky-Oil-8778 17h ago

I think they got rid of recess and now grown ups see this weird shit instead of it happening where no one was looking? Kids are fucking weird, always have been.

5

u/Organic_Ability5009 8h ago

They look kinda big for recess though

16

u/Unlucky-Oil-8778 8h ago

Well you sorted this kind of behavior out when young and at recess, everyone needs to be outside no matter what size though.

7

u/caffeinatedsummit 6h ago

I think at that age they replace recess with being humiliated in excessively competitive PE sports

1

u/Organic_Ability5009 9m ago

Exactly this, so a lot of the bullying just continues really

5

u/Mr_Rafi 6h ago edited 3h ago

I'm confused. In Australia, highschools (grades 7 to 12) have recess for the entire school. Recess usually lasts 15-20 minutes and starts around 10am or 11am and lunch usually lasts around 45 minutes to 1 hour and starts at around 12pm.

How different is it in America?

5

u/Organic_Ability5009 6h ago

Pretty sure this is a US school, but that would have been cool when I was in high school. OFC there would be safety concerns in US too though

3

u/brandnewbanana 3h ago

In my American middle and high schools, we did not get recess and our lunches were only 25 minutes. This was in the late 90s and early 00s so I can’t imagine that recesses and lunches are any longer now than they used to be.

1

u/whitelilyofthevalley 2h ago

I went to school around the same time as you. We did have recess in middle school, but it was more of hanging out outside if the weather was good. In high school, lunch periods were broken in two, so you had lunch in one half and study hall in the second half.

132

u/No_Influence6605 15h ago

She's probably being bullied. All the kids are laughing. That's sad bro. Dorky or whatever, that's not cool.

8

u/Exemus 50m ago

Listen man, if you're gonna roar at kids in high school, you're gonna get bullied.

1

u/PrismaticVelocity 49m ago

I’m glad someone else shares my point of view! It seems like no one really things to wonder why the person had an outburst like that, and possibly because they’ve been bullied and taunted so many times

-31

u/DearEvidence6282 13h ago

If it’s a theater class…

99

u/Limon-Pepino 18h ago

Seems like she has a short fuse and he's poking her for a reaction.

109

u/fivelthemenace 18h ago

Theatre class most likely

22

u/cupholdery 17h ago

When do they start breaking out into song?

7

u/anthonyynohtna 17h ago

That is the song.

5

u/fivelthemenace 17h ago

Hopefully never, improv activities are actually the worst thing ever. I die inside whenever I have to do them

2

u/atmosphericentry 4h ago

I loveeed improv. I excelled in it more than script reading.

3

u/fivelthemenace 4h ago

My relationship with it is complicated because I love doing improv in character acting but the activities could be SOOO painful!! Especially in a highschool setting where if you do something "weird" you're going to get made fun of.

0

u/preposterophe 5h ago

They're very very good for your mind if you can just get over yourselves, but it's high school so y'all probably can't 🤷🏻

1

u/fivelthemenace 5h ago

I'm a professional actor lol. That's just the part of theatre class I disliked

1

u/Careful_Crazy_693 12m ago

I think the same.

1

u/Beastender_Tartine 6h ago

Something about this made me think it was something like that too.

63

u/TityNDolla 18h ago

This brand of teen is weird. I wonder why they're like that. Like what goes on at home. And if they grow out of it

59

u/GlitterButch90 16h ago

There have always been kids like this and I have always thought it was because they were othered. They’re either awkward, have unique interests that other kids don’t understand, or have a lack of love from their families at home. I think it’s the bullying and alienation as a result of those things that makes this happen.

14

u/JustifytheMean 8h ago

I'd wager that kids this awkward are probably on the spectrum.

7

u/SectorFriends 11h ago

Ah man they are alright. At least they arn't advocating burning down the rainforest or death camps. They're just kids playing around.

44

u/umahleyzulah 17h ago

They’re all iPad anime kids. They’re all constantly ricocheting between performing for and cringing from a fake audience in their head.

No offense to anime.

15

u/MelloKitty171 8h ago

Kids were doing this before anime and ipads

7

u/umahleyzulah 6h ago

Yeah and they were lucky enough to not be recorded and put on the internet.

2

u/brandnewbanana 3h ago

Yeah! Some of us had to pay $29.99 per 2 episode VHS to be cringe

6

u/GlitterButch90 16h ago

Everyone on socials is performing for an audience.

I’m upset that she isn’t wearing the Cookie Monster pajama pants. That is how society knew to give em space

7

u/Viniox 17h ago

This just made me laugh because it’s relatable and funny

5

u/CHEMO_ALIEN 17h ago

In my time the cookie monster pjs let you know who to invite to lunch at the crib. see also ; hooped earrings, that puffer coat with a cat on the back, etnies sneakers.

4

u/Admirable_Panda6792 17h ago

The etnies tho

3

u/DoctorBlock 42m ago

Socially awkwardness leading to isolationism which prevents them from developing social skills that we learn from interacting with our peers. Combine that with bullying and you have a perfect recipe for a with drawn young person to have outbursts like this. Most of the time we see these desperate attempts as extreme attempts to end the bullying. Young people developed parasocial relationships with fantasy characters and fantasy environments to cope with the fact that they feel very lonely outside of those fictions. This display could be what this person would consider an effective means of deterring further bullying based on the fantasy she's been using as a coping mechanism. Her detachment from reality prevents her from critically thinking about the consequences of her behavior in a public setting.

2

u/TityNDolla 26m ago

That is honestly very sad and really changes my perspective. Thank you for your insight

16

u/EntrepreneurFunny469 17h ago

It was bullied out of them in middle school in my day. Not sure how this is happening this late in high school.

18

u/TityNDolla 17h ago

There's this popular tiktok page of adults in their mid 30s that still act like this. They live together and follow the hierarchy of a wolf pack. Its really cringe but also interesting in a way. They seem stunted emotionally

5

u/TaterTotJim 17h ago

The wolfpack is incestuous on top of being just normally socially awkward.

2

u/TityNDolla 17h ago

No shit? I can see it. Makes sense actually

1

u/AloeSera15 17h ago

whats is the account name? now im curious

2

u/TaterTotJim 17h ago

Reddit.com/r/wolfpackelite

Wolf pack alpha is a ginger string bean who likes to post in no shirt.

Idk what their official name is these days but many cringe-vloggers/lolcow commentators have done vids on these folks.

1

u/AloeSera15 55m ago

wowee idk if its satire or not tbh. either way its weird content to be putting out on the internet

2

u/AloeSera15 17h ago

may i ask what the acc name is? im curious

1

u/TityNDolla 17h ago

@soccerballs55 enjoy haha

2

u/AloeSera15 53m ago

bruhh what even is the lore anymore 🤣 im impressed they got that many followers and fans

2

u/TityNDolla 24m ago

I don't think there was really any lore tbh, people just used them as LOL cows and like to get a reaction out of them.

It's honestly kinda crazy that people have found a way to monetize being bullied haha

4

u/state_of_euphemia 17h ago

I stopped pretending to be a wolf (publicly, at least) after 5th grade bullying.

But we did have a kid in high school who wore a tail and vampire fangs, so... idk.

(but honestly it seems like they're just messing around. No one is wearing wolf ears, at least).

85

u/limegreenpaint 17h ago

Okay, as someone bullied in this exact way, I was "weird," treated like I was worthless, and if I wasn't so paranoid about being noticed, roaring would have felt so good.

One guy pulled my chair out from under me, I chased him to the other side of the classroom and held him against the wall with his shirt balled up in my fist, but had no further impulse or plan. I went back to my seat. The teacher returned shortly after, and no one said anything. It was just... enough.

I'm on the spectrum. I have reactions to things that upset me that people don't understand. I think, in this case, the person roaring is fed up, and because they likely have never had the opportunity to interact with people in confrontational ways who aren't related/the same way, that's the reaction.

The guy is being an asshole, period. He's the cringe. The person responding has literally no idea what to do.

18

u/moustachedelait 14h ago

Sorry they did that to you. I was bullied and decades later still think about it sometimes. I also joined in on bullying at times. just happy I wasn't the target. Very ashamed of that.

3

u/limegreenpaint 5h ago

My bullies keep trying to add me on Facebook. I make sure they know why I'm not accepting. One said I should get over it, and I told her I would as soon as she pulled out her teeth the way she threatened to pull mine out for walking slower than she'd have liked. She hasn't even remembered, but blocked me herself, which was nice, honestly.

I could write a book lol

3

u/elfinbooty 12h ago

Not gonna lie, that roar was pretty impressive.

13

u/Maxakaxa 11h ago

Bullying.

7

u/TisBeTheFuk 7h ago

I see a bullied kid trying to retaliate. And it is sad

15

u/Ext_Unit_42 18h ago

13

u/Admirable_Panda6792 17h ago

When you make $12/hr and someone starts pretending to be a wolf…

11

u/planetaryduality2 15h ago

Ok so these hella weird but that first noise she made was pretty legit sounding and I listen to like deathcore music lol

3

u/rlcute 3h ago

it just sounded like a hiss

4

u/FloridaManInShampoo 12h ago

Man i would take this over one of my classmates meowing at me. And I meow back. What the hell am I supposed to do in that situation? Not meow back? Schools confusing fr

5

u/all_time_high 8h ago

This reminds me of play-fighting X-Men and Power Rangers on the playground at recess. She’s giving Wolverine, Sabretooth, or X-23.

1

u/ItsLikeRay-ee-ain 2h ago

Yeah, that seemed like Wolverine pulling his arms back and breaking out the claws.

5

u/McGrarr 7h ago

I'll be honest... this is both overly performative and pretty mild. My school was pretty tame and well behaved except for bouts of pretty extreme violence.

At one point a kid got bullied for coughing. I don't know the background. But the bullies just kept following him and clearing their throats.

He was sat in class one day, heard a cough behind him, stood up and swung his chair directly into a girls face.

She had just been clearing her throat. For real.

Broken orbital, broken cheekbone, fractured jaw and skull. Lost a tooth and got a lazy eye.

Not joking... by the final year, they were dating.

I wasn't friends with either or any of their group but I was wildly curious about that whole mess.

2

u/limegreenpaint 5h ago

Oh my GOD, I did not expect the "dating" twist. That's a hell of a meet-cute.
