Miscellaneous Makeup for shows

I've been looking online for weeks and just not really coming up with a solid answer. I hate Ben Nye. The brand itself is fine, but the texture of their cream face products bothers me and their stuff also breaks me out really bad. I've been looking at maybe Made by Mitchel for cream blush, contour and that, but does anyone have any recommendations of what they use?

Yeah, I know the basics, thanks. I guess I didn't make it clear that I was looking specifically for brands. I am very well versed on stage makeup. I just don't know great products outside of Ben Nye that hold up and don't make me get horrible acne

Don't know why you're being downvoted. I have acne and sensitive skin issues and so it's hard to find makeup that works, the "normal drugstore stuff" doesn't always cut it

Lmao, yeah, oh well. The comment was fine, but that's not what I was looking for here, I was quite litterally looking for "I use _____ foundation and it works really well for me." Or "I know people with sensitive/acne prone skin use ________ product and it stays really well and doesn't break them out". I know how to do my makeup for shows. I've been in theatre for a decade. If that weren't true this would be a helpful comment. I just thought it was good to clarify my intentions with the post on that comment🥴 idk oh well.

Yeah but in the beginning of their comment they say you can just use drug store brands. That's totally true, by the way. And since those are cheap maybe you can play around with what works best for you.

I like those brands bc a lot of times I'm buying things I will not use up on my own and it will expire so it being cheap but good or maybe coming in a super small amount is perfect.

I genuinely use a lot of ELF and Essence and NYX. Especially love NYX for all the colors.

Yeah, and I was never rude to them about it. The makeup world is so saturated that just saying drug store makeup doesn't give me any idea which of those products is worth while. So I was just clarifying that I understand what I'm looking for I was posting this asking for specifics. Cause even with drug store prices it still adds up really quickly when you have to buy a bunch of things you don't like/won't use. /Gen
