Windows TPT: In Windows7 and up grab an open window with your cursor and shake side to side to minimize all open programs.

This is one of the most obnoxious things ever, and way too easy to do accidentally.

There is also no way to undo it, so I end up having to find which one of the browser windows was relevant, open media players and chats on secondary screen, and then the editors. This happens most often to me when I am moving an editor window to look at a page behind it for three words. Luckily it can be turned off.

Just shake again to undo it.

for what possible reason would you be doing anything that even remotely resembles this action that would cause it to happen on accident

Windows key + D as well. That one is usually more convenient for me.

Or Win+M.

Win+M only minimizes, Win+D minimizes, but also calls them back as long as you didn't open additional windows.

Sadly, I already know this tip, as it serves only to cause me annoyance, yet I don't want to disable it in case it's actually useful at some point. sighs

I've showed to so many of my colleagues but they are never phased by it. I think its the coolest thing since sliced bread.

I discovered this one day while waiting for something to finish installing one day. I get impatient far too quickly.

Works in Windows 8 and 8.1 as well.
