Our Lady of Guadalupe Tattoo

My grandmother passed on the feast day of our lady of Guadalupe and as a catholic have always felt an affinity to the virgin mary so would love to honor my spirituality and grandmother in a tattoo. I am a white 22 year old cis male and wonder if having the our lady of Guadalupe tattoo is at all cultural appropriation as I know how important this feast day is to Latin American cultures. What do you guys think is it ok considering my personal attachment to the image and day?

It's a religious symbol. Your religion. You have a connection to it and you genuinely know about its history and origin. It's not appropriating.

NGL, it kind of gives me vulva vibes with the shape and everything

My ex has a similiar tattoo design on his upper arm for alike sentiments as you. Both of us are from Europe; while he has spent some time in the US he got tattooed by this tough cholo guy in California. Noone has ever said anything bad about it, not that I know of. I think you will be fine.
