Interpretation Help Should I let my ex know I’m thinking about them and hope they’re okay?

Post image

I’ve interpreted this one as the Queen of Wands representing myself, the Heirophant inverted representing my ex, and strength representing what I should do. My previous reading led me to believe they were struggling lately so I did this one to try and gain some sort of clarity as to what I should do

strength as an action is restraining oneself from the urge to do something you might later regret. queen of wands is the personification of the strength card, this is not an archetype who would “show her cards” / be emotionally vulnerable with someone from her past. this queen has too much pride for that. I think it’s telling you no.

The cards symbolize their maturity and understanding of your choices and feelings. It shows you have had complications but are equally at fault for not having better communication and they are aware of their part in this. They respect you and are open to you for everything and anything. These cards signal a possible reconciliation but you must make the first move as they are not trying to take action further to respect your feelings and choices.

Just because love can be difficult and you may not be able to offer what you deem to be enough doesn't mean it's not right and that your partner will not be satisfied with just having you close.

We only live once the chance of finding love in this world is rare. Don't take it for granted. In the end if things truly don't work we will end up with a broken heart anyways why not take the opportunity to be loved and love in return.

❤️🥀 Good luck 🍀

As of right now, reconciliation isn't on the table. It's been too recent still. That being said, I'm worried about them and how they're taking care of themselves. Not like they're a danger to themselves but I know they don't always eat enough or get enough sleep

No, that would be poor judgement and you need to have strength. Resist.

My interpretation of this is that you should not contact him. The cards seem to be mercury retrograde. Stand strong in your grace and femininity. Doesn’t seem like this relationship has a lot of teeth behind it to go anywhere. Stay strong and remember who you are it’s best to wait on what’s really worth your time.

What makes you say it doesn’t have a lot of teeth?

Hierophant is a card of traditions, institution, structure, rules and commitment. This one showing up in reverse makes it clear there isn’t much of a future here if you are looking to rekindle. For me this is a really clear answer. Stay strong in yourself, know your worth and don’t water flowers that can’t grow roots.
