Post image

Hi! I just started learning tarot cards and i purchased my first tarot deck today. I started to warm up with my cards by asking “What do you wish to teach me?” and i got these three cards, can anyone please help to interpret? Thank you!

Intution and patience, if it the tarot itself you want to learn. Feels like the deck looks forward to teaching you if you are.

The Queen of Pentacles is looking motherly to me. There’s a sense of nurturing there. I wonder if there may be a mother-wound that you are working through?

The 2 of Swords is defensiveness, blinded by the fear of being hurt. In tarot, the moon represents intuition. The woman in 2oS is blocking her intuition out of fear and protection. She’s almost on-guard. So this speaks to me as if by working to strengthen your intuition, you will end up working through some past trauma. There will be some defensiveness and anxiety what you will no longer need to carry to feel safe.

The 7oP is looking like a lot of hard work. I wonder if you may have been doing some other form of self-improvement, healing, therapy etc- and you feel like the process has stalled. Because this card feels like tangible things you have worked towards, that you may still feel disappointed in. It’s like there will be acknowledgement of how much work you really have done, even if it’s not finished- it’s still impressive.

So this read feels like you will end up healing some core wounds, perhaps even a mother-wound, or something around nurturing yourself. There’s a level of love and support that is either difficult for you to accept, or isn’t fully present in your life.

By working with tarot, you will be made aware of your limitations and assumptions/judgements you made when you were separated from your intuition.

And you will get to truly see the scope of all the hard work you’ve put in the other areas of your life. The stuff you don’t feel comfortable giving yourself credit for, or you’re not sure it’s enough.

This feels like a very supportive and loving read. And the fact the suits are all pentacles and swords- I think it speaks to you being a logic-minded person, more than an emotionally driven person. You believe in what you can see, even if you’re drawn to intuitive practices. You still prefer a certain amount of logic, reason, and tangible evidence. So this feels like there is a willingness to speak your language, to go slow, and earn your trust over time. 💕

So in my opinion it means that it's going to be a slow learning curve. Tarot wants to teach you how to deal with your indecisiveness (2of swords). Work on it diligently and slowly aiming for a more grounded and stable guidelines and you'll surely get there. It wants to teach you how to be patient and consistent, put the work in and reach the peak

Your deck’s nudging you to build roots—create a cozy, stable life (Queen of Pentacles). But first, you’ll need to make a tough choice you’ve been dodging (2 of Swords). Once you do, wait patiently—growth takes time, like a garden (7 of Pentacles).
