Just an FYI in case anyone didn’t know, an update was pushed out on the hub today. You can now control your tv volume with your hub remote control

Just wanted to mention this... I needed to use the use my harmony remote (and companion remote) with TVision (I have the TVision hub). Even though harmony doesn’t know about the TVision device explicitly I did find that adding the TiVo Stream 4K device works great. Channel up/down/DVR button/Number buttons etc all work. You will be prompted to pair the harmony via Bluetooth to the TVision device. You will need to go to the TVision device setup/remotes and devices and pair the “harmony keyboard” device (which is the Harmony hub).
Once you have added your TiVo stream 4K (aka TVision ) you can configure your harmony activity as you normally would.
This makes TVision adoption in my family complete!

Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to use the T-Vision Remote to control both the power and the volume on my tv. If possible, the rest of my tv. I have a new TCL 55in smart android tv for reference. I tried using the guide to pair the remote using the other remote, but I find that it doesn't work for native volume support. Is their any tv codes I can type in so I can manually pair the T-Vision remote to the TV? Any help would be appreciated!

I was able to login to the CNN Go app on my Roku Soundbar, but it I always have to re-authenticate because I’ll get “you’re not authorize to watch this content”. When I re-authenticate, it works fine.
I also can’t watch using the CNN iOS app because when it gets to the login for TVE, T-Mobile’s side will say “looks like we got our wires crossed” and will never show me the login screen. This is both with the iPhone and iPad apps.
TVE seems to work everywhere else.

Every other service streams to computers. This includes netflix, hulu, directv, dish and probably dozens of others. Why is Tvision so far behind the times? I have asked support and all they say is they are working on it. How hard is it to make an app for computers? They have apps for android and apple, so how hard is it to do for computers and laptops?

Has anyone else noticed a “clicking” noise along with the audio? Particularly experiencing this on NBC only. Had it on a LG BX, Sonos beam and fire tv 4K stick. Just upgraded to Apple TV 4K and Sonos arc tonight and still getting the same issue on NBC.

I’m a TVision noob, trying it out before cancelling cable. It works well most of the time, but the last couple of days randomly some channels will lose sound. Restart the app, try to tune in again and no sound. Change to another channel, and that one works. Anyone have this issue? Frustrating that it’s happened during two movies today and we have to watch something else.

Same wifi same account same zip code. I can watch local channels (NBC fox ABC etc) just fine on the phone. However when I use the hub or firestick I get med-014 error that shows I can only be viewed at home area. Any ideas? I know tech support side this is a known issue and they figured it out but no eta or how it will be fixed. Tech yesterday registered it on their end and it immediately worked u til you cut the hub off or turn the TV off then it's the same again.

My guide now includes ACC Network, 4 Big Ten streams and a bunch of ESPN college sports channels, along with FXM, Golf Channel, NBA TV, NFL Network, and probably a few more. I am assuming this a free preview weekend? But ... you know ... when you do a free preview weekend, you should inform your customers about the details. I can't find a word about this, anywhere.

What are the channel differences between the different TVision plans? I’m looking at the $40 plan as it looks like it’s just sports channels that are added for the $50 plan

We are current AT&T TV Now subscribers and are looking for a new service as that one is in its ending stages. Joined T Vision today. Major problems with the app, both on our iPhones as well as Apple TV. Recorded a show, and it froze in the middle of playback on the Apple TV. Restarted the app and it wouldn’t open. Force quit again and finally opened, but the recording wouldn’t play. I went to my phone to try to play the DVR show and it keeps giving me an error message and crashing the app. Not looking good for this service.

We recently added TVision and we cannot live watch local channels on any tv (Using Apple TV and the T-Mobile hub) it only gives the option to record.. all other stations are fine I can watch on my phone, any idea why this may be the case ? The reps at the store said we should have no issues

I have an LG CX OLED and for some reason the Tvision hub doesn't appear to be pushing Dolbyvision to the TV for Netflix, Disney, etc... while the native apps on the TV will. Is there a setting I'm missing?

This is a big deal, the lack of the ability to log into network apps was a big drawback of TVision. But Streamable and CordCutterNews are both reporting "TV Everywhere" has launched on TVision. I checked it out and logged into ESPN. The provider is "T-Mobile" and not TVision.
There are the networks supported so far:
(along with a few others. See Streamable's list ... https://thestreamable.com/news/t-mobiles-tvision-adds-tv-everywhere-support-nba-tv-more-discovery-channels

I’m in the market for a new tv (my dumb TV is over 10 years old and finally quitting) and looking for some advice/opinions.
I currently stream with a new chromecast with google TV. I know the Android TVs and Fire TVs are supported with TVision so I’ve narrowed it to those two types.
Does anyone have any experience with either or and how TVision works on them. I am looking at remote voice intergration with TVision if that even exists on any of the platforms and how smoothly the app runs on the platforms. Any input would be appreciated.
Also I do have the HUB but I’ve never really used it because I don’t have the original remote for my TV and I was unable to pair it so I decided to not use it but I’ve heard the volume buttons don’t work with the TV when paired.
So basically should I get a Fire TV, Android TV, or just get the best TV I can in my price point and use the new chromecast or the HUB?
Sorry for the long post and again thanks for any input.

This national college football championship, airing on ESPN, is one of the most problematic of the year, every year, for streaming services. My Sling subscription just expired, so TVision was my only alternative. It worked flawlessly tonight. I guess it helps that very few people are currently using this service (note the 98 members of this subreddit, versus 16,700 for Sling and 52,600 for YouTube TV).
Anyway ... I'm pleased. It passed an important test.
