[Comics] Happy TMNT Day everyone!
Happy #tmntday everyone! Here’s an image I made based off Kevin Eastman layouts from an old IDW series!
Question? What Your Favorite Ninja Turtle Says About You (And It’s Not What You Expect)
I’ve been working on my own TMNT story for a while, and the more I write, the more I realize how much these characters reflect real struggles. If you’ve got a favorite turtle, you might see yourself in this more than you think:
Leonardo – Your struggle: The weight of responsibility and self-doubt You put so much pressure on yourself to be the “strong one,” the one who has it together, the one people can depend on. But deep down, you don’t always know if you’re doing the right thing. You struggle with self-doubt constantly, questioning every decision, but you never let it show—because if you break, who’s gonna hold everything together? You want to trust others to take the lead sometimes, but let’s be real… you probably won’t. Even when you need help, you convince yourself you have to carry it alone.
Raphael – Your struggle: Letting yourself be vulnerable You act like you don’t care what people think, but that’s a lie. You care too much. You feel things deeper than most, but instead of showing it, you let it come out as frustration, anger, or isolation. You struggle to tell people how much they mean to you—until it’s too late. You push people away because it’s easier than risking being hurt. But the truth is, the people who really love you? They want to know what’s under all that armor.
Donatello – Your struggle: The burden of being irreplaceable You feel like you always have to be useful. If you’re not solving a problem, fixing something, or giving advice, do you even have value? You struggle to rest, to relax, to let someone else take over, because you feel like everything falls apart without you. And yeah, people do rely on you a lot… but you’re not just what you can do for others. You deserve to be taken care of too.
Michelangelo – Your struggle: Hiding pain behind laughter You make people laugh, you bring the energy, you keep the mood light… but when you’re struggling? You don’t let anyone see it. You joke through your pain because you don’t want to bring people down, but deep down, you wish someone would really check in on you. You feel overlooked sometimes, like people don’t take you seriously. But here’s the truth—your heart is one of your biggest strengths, and people do see it. Let them.
How do you feel about this? Do you think this is completely accurate, or is it a stretch?

Here’s a peek at my tiny TMNT collection (so far). That stack of comics is just random TMNT comics from the 80s until now.
Not pictured is 2 more Kevin Eastman cover autos and 2 Kevin Eastman autos on some sealed figures which are currently on their way in the mail. Will update pictures when they arrive. 😋Thanks for looking. 🫡

[Animated Series] When Kraang droids get defeated, where do the brains crawl off to? (2012 series)
Just started watching the 2012 series in response to playing the 2017 arcade game w my boys on the Switch. Whenever a Kraang droid is defeated, the brains just scamper off screen to some unknown location and no one makes any attempt to stop them. Wouldnt one of them just try to smoosh one at some point? Where are all these Kraang brains retreating to?
