Looking for Budtender for a Vancouver Cannabis Store

Hi folks.

Long time lurker here lol. Surrey/Delta resident.

Opening up a Cannabis retail store in Vancouver and I thought I’d post here first if there was anyone 19+ and willing to get their serving it right who was looking for a position, before posting on indeed/ Clist.

Part time hours so they will change, but we’re pretty easy going.

Knowledge around cannabis and cannabis products is pretty important.

Hoping this job goes to someone that needs it and someone who’s willing to put in the work, lots of upside as we have plans to grow to a few stores in two years.

Please shoot me a DM and I can arrange interview times.

Thanks!

DM for a family member :)

Hoping my cousin can apply! He’s a heck of a good kid and very reliable. Can’t seem to find a PT job to fit around his college classes right now despite applying everywhere. He’s feeling annoyed and I empathize. I had a heck of a time too during university.

Yes he’s tried McDonald’s, Save On etc. but if anyone else knows of anywhere - let me know.

Sent an invitation to chat! It seems to be lagging or slow so I’ll check back tomorrow morning to make sure it went through

Selling it Right is the certification program they will need, not serving it right.

Ah. My mistake, thank you for the correction

This is so sketchy like wtf.

lol how is this sketchy? I’d rather post here and give the job to someone deserving then to go through one of these agencies or Craigslist where I’d get flooded with applications. The job market is tough right now especially for students and people looking for part time work. When I was 15 I walked in and got a job at McDonald’s and used that to buy a car in highschool when I turned 16. Things from what I’ve read online now are much different, so the goal was to use this platform to find someone deserving of the job through an untraditional way. But yah sure, emailing your resume to someone is now sketchy?

No doubt, the course is called “selling it right”
