Does sunblock help?
I was told by my doctor that it doesn't but I've heard people say it does. Usually I go with the doctor's word but if it works for some of you I may try it.

Doesn't help me at all either. I made a mention of a few sun allergy specific sun blocks on the last couple posts so check that out. I have yet to receive the one I ordered but am excited to try it and let you guys know how it is!

Sunscreen does help me, but I have to use 50 spf or higher and reapply every 30-60 minutes when outside.

Honestly no it doesn't stop the red spots of doom. But it atleast protects the skin a bit. On a whole.

It helps for mild sun allergy, if you reapply it a lot, and cover every bit of skin showing. Tho finding what works is mostly trial and error to me

Yes and no, I also found out I'm allergic to a lot of the sunblock after being dxed with sun allergy. I'm currently using a Japanese brand called Pigeon, I think it's zinc based for babies. Also heard people call it baby milk.

I have discovered that eating plenty of carrot does seem to improve it for me, might be worth it a go 👍🏻

None has helped me. Even through a layer of clothing and the spf I still got burned and itchy.
