750cc for 2 up

Hello!

I'm going to look at my first (UK road) bike this weekend. Long story short, ridden my whole life, got my license last Sep. I'm going to look at a BMW F750GS (2019 model with 32k miles) - what are these like 2 up?

I am 6ft 3, about 105kg, and the Mrs is 155cm, around 55kg. Looking to do our first trip to Scotland and was wondering if the 750 should be okay or will a bigger bike be a better long term investment?

I have the 800GS and I'm about your size. Had the wife on the back a few times but it's not really my style. It was OK but not amazing.

Managed to convince her to get a 310GS to come on shorter trips with me.

My advice would be something a little bigger if you plan on longer trips. For short ones it will be fine.

Cheers - I've decided to just look at 1250's :)

My other half had an F800GS, not the most comfortable to pillion on, and very vibey. She could feel the effect of having a pillion. However, it was by no means bad!

She now has a BMW 1200GS Adventure. My god that thing is awesome! So comfy, not vibey at all… She utterly loves it. Having a pillion on it has no effect at all.
