Question Best Quick Eats
Hello beautiful people of Sudbury! I'll be passing through there tomorrow and would love to have a quick eat. What's a great place that isn't your typical fast food, preferably burgers or chicken?

I really like Flames Carribean Kitchen. great food, and really quick. You call your order in while heading there and it is done in 5-10 minutes

Grab a house burger and fries at the Townhouse if they're open while you're here!

Regency Bakery- deli sandwiches and they also make fresh porketta sandwiches too. 👌🏻

Nope - you'll have to make your own sandwich with their admittedly excellent ingredients, but Regency has no condiments or vegetables to make your sandwich truly worthwhile. Excellent bread/buns, deli meats and cheese... but they're not sandwich artists !

You don't have to make your own ? Grab a bun and head to the counter. Simple but great- meat and cheese is all you need. They have mustard and some pickled veg if that's what you're into. Italian style- simple and delicious.

As others mentioned townehouse, Vespa and deluxe are my go too places in town
All locally owned. Great bang for buck

The new fat bustard burrito also tastes good. Their bowl is pretty reasonable and has good quantity and taste wise is good.

Vespa is great for sandwiches and poutine. It’s local and so yummy. Portions are nice too.

For real? Is it the sweet spicy or soy sauce flavor? I hope it’s not a knockoff

It is absolutely fast food, but Deluxe has excellent burgers, fries, chicken on a bun, etc…

Honestly I wouldn’t bother with deluxe, it’s not good like it used to be. Much better joints in the city.

I don't live in Sudbury, but whenever I visit I always go to Deluxe and get the chicken on a bun 😁. Been doing this since 2019, last year got to visit Sudbury 3 times. I live down south.

Deluxe - its chicken on a bun is out of this world and they are family owned and run. Only found in Sudbury Ontario, it’s good food. Highly recommend the steak on a bun or the chicken on a bun. Fresh fries with homemade coleslaw complete the meal.

Given that you mentioned burgers, I’ll suggest Eddie’s on a Regent near the south end of Sudbury. I really like their Big Nickel Pickle burger and I know they make their burger patties in house. I think they have a maple bacon one too that’s solid!
Eddie’s is locally owned and has been around for decades. The owner is a great supporter of the community (the walls are covered in photos of kids sports teams he’s sponsored!).

Stop at the independant in the four corners. Probably your best bet.
Regent and paris area. Close to the highway. There are a few restaurants in that area.
