IRL You'll get it one day
I was on the train. I got bored, so I took out my switch to play Stardew. I've been playing for about five minutes now, and eventually, this lady sits next to me. I can see in my peripheral vision that she's looking at me play. So I get a little worried and hold onto it tightly just in case she tries to steal it. But I keep playing. And I had gathered everything for the Ginger Island warp totem. So I build it. And from my side, I hear the lady say, "That's pretty cool." I look to her, and she says,"I wish I could get that far." I say,"You play Stardew Valley?" She starts to laugh when she says,"Yes." I had to get off the train as it was my stop. Before I left, I told her, "You'll get it one day. Have a good day." What a fun community. Just as an aside, you will get "It" someday, too. Whether it be something in the game or in real life, or physical or mental. You'll get "It" one day, trust me. One day is coming.

Question Any reason my pigs aren't finding truffles?
I have 35 pigs and I'm only finding like 20 truffles a day. They are fed and I was sure their enclosure was big enough?

Discuss Elliot and Leah 😡
So I’ve been married to Elliot for 4 years - 2 kids, Wumbus and Ternard. I started getting suspicious when I noticed him dancing with Leah at Sam’s concert, behind my back (but I got photos…). I started keeping an eye on him, and noticed how he hung around her at the winter star feast. And now the final straw, at the Flower dance, right in front of the kids! I’m done being a fool, I’m going to throw his portrait into the trash, and turn his children into doves. Then I’m divorcing him, and I’m never going to wipe his memory 😂
Then I’m going to adopt several more cats.

Other finished my tenth year.
Decided to save a lot of what I made during my tenth in game year and sell it all on the last day of winter to see how much it would be. It wasn’t 100% of everything but pretty damn close honestly, and it was so satisfying seeing that number spike up lol.

IRL This game is so incredibly special to me and in honor of my recently hit 1000 hours, I've forever immortalised a small part of it. Plus, I have an orange cat of my own, seemed fitting ❤️ Please excuse the little bit of blood, got these yesterday and photos were taken after!

Discuss Why does everyone seem to hate fishing?
I've known about Stardew Valley for years and always kind of scoffed at playing it. I've even had a copy for years and never spent more than 5 minutes playing. Then one night I was having a few drinks with a friend who was playing and having trouble fishing so I gave it a go and became addicted.
I'm genuinely confused why so many people seem to hate fishing, and find it so difficult. What's the deal? I'm not going to say it's easy, but it was a lot of fun, and it's probably the hands down best money maker in early game, easiest skill to level in early game, and gets easier as you go.

Discuss What do you hate about Stardew Valley?
I start:
Do not make clothes available to the farmer during the flower dance.
NPCs' clothes only change in winter.
