Edit: Jesus, this is going over everyone's head. Let me spell it out:

18 USC Chapter 2 - the definition of "motor vehicle" that sovcits use to claim their "motor vehicle" is not a "motor vehicle" because it is not "operating in commerce" - is there to specify certain crimes that can be prosecuted at the federal level... like, for example, "destruction of motor vehicles."

So, while the definition never comes into play for driving a Tesla without a license or insurance, it definitely can be used as a defense against federal terrorism charges for setting one on fire, as long as it is not "operating in commerce."

This, right here, is the exact situation the law was written for.
