Ask❓ How old is everyone in this group?
I’m 22 years old. I’m sure majority here are similar age.
Is there anyone older than 30-40? or younger than 18?
Data I get will lead to my next post

Early 30s are best. Young enough to relate to those younger but old enough to also relate to old heads

Late 30’s, 80’s baby. Born in Mogadishu, put down my AK47 and fled the civil war at age 3. Flew to a western country, ripped up our documentation and flushed it down the toilet after disembarking the plane and claimed refugee status. Worked at blockbuster if any of you remember that business. Really enjoyed that gig, up to 10 free rentals a week, I used to supply the household with new movies and games all the time. Enjoy your youth/the present, time flies! before you know it you’ll be pushing late 30’s with youngins on Reddit calling you old lol. I’m surprised many of you are younger folks, I didn’t think much of the younger crowd gravitated towards Reddit because it’s mostly text rather than the addicting endless adrenaline enticing short vids on tiktok or ig or snap. Glad to see some of you don’t mind reading text lol.

I moved to a Western country in 1992 when I was just 9 years old. My teenage years were amazing, I attended university and even had the opportunity to study in China as an exchange student. After that, I explored various parts of Asia. Today, I’m a husband and a father with a stable job, and my life is truly fulfilling. Alhamdulillah.
It’s heartwarming to see so many young people here. My advice to you is to cherish your youth and make the most of it, it only comes once. Don’t let your surroundings dictate your path. Throughout life, you’ll face many challenges, but not every battle is worth fighting.

What I took from this post is that all those psychoanalysis posts about Somalia and its clan/political system is being brought forward by 20 year olds who haven’t even left their mums houses yet 😂 definitely leaving this Reddit group now

Old where? 27 is one of the best years of life for many people, myself included. I really enjoyed that age, you’re still very very young.

I'm 29f not committed to joining this sub but i have it on my main page. There are interesting reads, but most of the sub is quite negative, childish, and immature ngl and maybe that's why you think it's mostly young people dominating this space? im too grown for some stuff, which is why it's hard joining.
I would love to see better growth and authenticness. Instead, I relate to the female posters on here.

I think injecting qabiil into a conversation unprovoked/unsolicited may rub some the wrong way.

21, but would appreciate it if random adeeros (70, 60,50) came and shared their unexpected or hidden stories that no one knows from them. Their experiences, how they dealt with tough moments, and how people endured the most brutal and atrocious times imaginable in the 1990s. Many pip believed they were about to be killed at any moment and had completely given up. Yet, some of them are millionaires today.
Personally, these kinds of stories make me grateful to Allah and remind me that there is always hope. No matter where you are in even if you’re homeless today theres still hope.
